For some reason several servers have a 2 second delay for me. It's the servers I mainly played on and somehow out of no where I just have a bug where everything has a 2sec delay. This happened around 4 months of me being on the server, it used to be fine. If I shoot or put my gun on my back it instantly happens for my friends watching me but on my screen it takes 2 seconds before it happens. Zombies and players also run for 2 seconds, then they run in place for a second and then they continue to run again. This is only happening on like 1/100 servers but sadly this started happening on our own server so I can't really not play on the server. I thought it was my internet connection but I went to 3 different locations and everytime it's the same conclusion, a 2 second delay with the server. So it must be my computer, I think? That's the only thing that makes sense. I tried disabling all firewalls, changing settings, only have DayZ on but nothing works. And again, this doesn't happen on many other servers. I can play with high fps, no lagg, no delay on other servers but then as soon as I go on our own server I got the 2sec delay/desyn. Does anyone know what could be causing this or some ideas on what I could try to fix it? Btw our server is from Norway and I live in France, tried 3 different locations with very good internet here in France but on all locations it's the same problem. I have rather high ping to the server but it's only 20 higher (80 average for other servers and like 100 for our own server). In short what I think it could be: - Either something went wrong while playing on the server and now in the server database it keeps sending me packages wrong and thus causing this big desync/lagg. - Or maybe Norway has some connecting issues with France? I got a fairly good ping to the server though but more like a connection problem or security problem? - Lastly it could be something on my end but then again why am I fine on any other server and I have this delay on this specific server? I also tried everything from firewalls, settings, reinstalling but nothing worked. I'm out of ideas though so if anyone has any tips or ideas I would be really grateful, even if it doesn't work there is always a chance that your idea could solve my problem.

True, I too think it has to do with the server, especially since it's only some servers. However what I cannot figure out is why it so suddenly happened on our own server, the one I have been playing on for a total of 6 months and never had any problems on till now. I could ask the provider to see if it has anything to do on their end because I know nothing changed on my end. I even changed to 3 other locations (friends) and there too I have the same problem. This problem has been here for around 2 weeks now, I changed location in real life, changed locations in game (basically been all over the map testing this 2 second delay), reinstalled the game and tested when the server was full and empty (2 others online) but always the same problem; 2 seconds delay/desync. So there is no solution to this problem? Knowing that before (5 months) on the same server it has been totally fine and that it is only some servers that I seem to be having this problem on? Something has to be the cause and I've been searching for others with similar problems like this one but 90% of the people seem to complain about low FPS and the rest thinks is unplayable (I got 2000+ hours so it's pretty playable if you ask me) but not a single one of them has my problem that I have a 2 second delay/desync on a server that has been fine for the last 5 months and even weirder is that some (like 50/50) of the other servers everything is totally fine and I don't have that 2 second delay/desync. I hope someone comes with some ideas/solutions I haven't tried and I'll keep searching and asking around and if I ever do find the cause I'll post it here for others that might have the same problem.

Hi, Recently I have been having a problem with some specific servers I always play on (my squad's server and 2 others we go on regularly). Whenever I click anything in my inventory it will take 2 seconds before it happens but I am not lagging myself. I tested this with my squad and I counted down from 3 and when I said GO I put my gun in my hands. On their screen it was instantly in my hands however on my screen it took 2 seconds. This is with everything I do whether it's eating food or putting my gun on my back. However this problem only seems to happen in our own server (and a few others) whether it's full or has 2 players on it (morning and evening). Then when I join another server (some of them) it seems to be totally fine and I have no delay at all. My ping doesn't seem to be the problem, ingame I have my normal 40 ms but it still has 2 seconds delay, outside in the serverlist it does have a little higher ping than other servers. I tried to find out what is causing this problem but it's not my internet and it's not my PC either because it's only some specific servers. I really don't understand what is happening though because I played on this server for more than 2 months and it was always fine then this suddenly happened out of nowhere (no idea what caused it) and it's unplayable. I am wandering if anyone else has or had this same problem? So it's on some servers, not all of them, and it's basically a 2 second delay on anything (sometimes people also just stop running and then they instantly teleport ahead). What I do know is that it's not my internet nor my PC. I hope anyone can help me because it's really unplayable and it's a waste of the server for me.

Yup exactly, it takes 1 minute and you just can't move and then the server kicks you (sessions lost message). This only happens when I leave a server and try and join a server though, it never happens when I just started the game and then join a server.

Hi, Lately I've been having an issue on rejoining a server after just leaving one. When I start my game and I go in a server then it takes a few seconds and everything is loaded and ready to play without any issues but when I disconnect and I rejoin a server then my game crashes (note the "a server" this is for the same the server I left or any other). Whether I wait the 60 seconds or join a server instantly, it will spawn me in and I can see around me for maybe a second and then suddenly I will have 0fps (actually 0.01 because every now and then it suddenly shifts to another frame). After maybe a minute or so it will crash, either DayZ stopped responding or I get kicked by BattleEye and I get a Session Lost message. This is with private servers, public, 3rd person and whatever you can think of. My PC is also very good, I have litteraly no fps issues at all when playing, it has to be some other weird setting causing this. I am really wandering how I can solve this problem, now my only solution is to shutdown dayz and restart it. I am thinking it's some kind of memory problem (DayZ storing data in temp folder to make the game load in quicker, who knows?) but I honestly have no idea and I thought it would be time to start asking around if anyone would know a solution to this. Any answer or reply is appreciated. PS I can start posting all my specs but like I said that is not what is causing the problem, it only happens after disconnecting from one server and then joining a server again (the same or another I just left). EDIT: Sorry for the weird layout, I can't seem to fix that.

Joined them, great server, fun and nice community, lots of activity and a good forum to keep us busy. Can't wait to get some more people on the Server.

I waited in the TS, but no one showed up. Is there some special time people login ? And are there groups or is it just some TS for the servers ? I don't get what your community is. Can't you explain a little more than just some copy paste message ?

Happened again, lost my character when I changed computer this time... Are there any fixes ?

Title says it all but details: I would like to find some group or community that helps the new members, places them with others. Yes a big community would work if someone actually helped the new members. I tried 3 other gaming communities but I apply, they accept and then thats it. They don't even ask questions or read my application. I would just like to find some small group/squad to run around with and not some huge community that doesn't care about their members. I hope to find something soon else I will just give up and begin something myself, My steam is HeadlessJoey if want some more direct approach or a quicker reply.

Thanks for showing this isn't what I am looking for and that it probably wont work out. By the way all the questions I asked, I already knew an answer for them but I just wanted to see if you would accept any idiot or that you had requirement but apparently all I have to do is invite you to my friends and I am a part of this RP community. You need some requirements if you want this to work right now all you are doing is making a huge group of people and hoping they will all be dedicated. Well goodluck but you ought to invest a lot more time to your people.

I think it's easier to talk on here since I can't use my MIC atm for TS and you are AFK. So heres a list I need to say: I read the rules (Twice now to see if I didn't miss something) and I don't get it. Probably since I only played this game for a few days now but in the server list I can see: "Hide server with password" so I thought it was possible. But ofcourse people wont listen to the rules if it's an open server but that will change I guess. I just want to know how I can be part of Falcon if there isn't much to do ? I was on the TS for 8 hours or 9 and no one was online. I can't seem to find the server IP anywhere so I can't test the server either. So my question is, should I wait for new updates before joining or is it worth joining right now and are there any groups that RP who want new people ? I hope to find some answers.

This really annoying thing has happened to me 20 times now. I logout somewhere then I login and suddenly I am respawning. This has happened to much and it must be some bug or glitch. Sometimes it happens when I am in the middle of an open field, or hidden in a house. I don't think it is because I die when I spawn because that would be big coincidence since it has happened atleast 9 times in 2 days. Is someone aware of this and is there a fix or should I just accept it and restart whenever it happens ? Myself I don't care that much because I like to start over but it is annoying. So anyone got any ideas ?

I still haven't played the server but if this is true then I will not join. I want to find a real server like was said in the rules, with camps and settlements. Isn't it possible to put a password on the server ?

Hey this is just what I have been looking for. I played for 38 hours now and killing people is pointless, I love to help others or try and RP but everytime I get an axe in the face or a bullet in my head. I added you on steam and I am on the TS, however I can't talk atm because I got visitors for a few days. I hope to join you guys quick because at the momeny all I am doing is gathering things and running from other players because all they can think of is killing and I don't like that. This game is perfect as a real life simulator so act like a human and RP. Well I hope to speak to you on steam or else on TS.
