I have i7 860 cheap 140 euro video card. Constant 60 fps outside, 33-45 in city firefights 40-50 idle city. http://dayzintel.com/dayz-standalone/dayz-standalone-performance-guide followed this, made my own experiments and im happy. play with the settings. I expect beans - thank you.

Well - we could add a lot of stuff but how to present in the UI in a way that is understandable and usable. Crafting is done by dragging, when it gets more complicated there are gonna be alot of perequisites for the crafting result.

Good suggestion but it doesn't take into consideration that servers are limited to 40 players due performance issues on the quantity of objects and entities in the game. I don't think you will have problems finding another survivors in 100-200 people servers. I wouldn't mind neutral trader npcs. ( which one of course you can kill - if npc bodyguard/s don't kill you first )

Well i do think that rope needs more uses. Rope is essential in every survival, starting from making a camp , hunting etc. + its always good to be back in the middle ages from time to time. a Sandbox game should have a lot of options but there is the issue with torture,killings, abuse and so on.. at one point such things added to the game can get out of hand - require specific age to play or even be banned in some countries. The game can get as real as it can get but it can backfire in IRL resulting to unwanted negative media attention, bans etc.. + there are people who are influenced by the games and do stupid things IRL.

Humans do regenerate blood. Are you kidding me? What do they teach kids nowadays. Its basic human anatomy. I wonder - if you humans ( judging by you ) don't regenerate blood - then how come blood donors don't die?

It should be zombie survival. Player interactions (pvp or whatever) is a side effect of the game.

Ha it happens. We went onto 40 player servers. Balota was empty ( nobody even looted ) camped for an hour. Then went to elektro and cherno still nothing and then - all of suden shitstorm started. Once you find someone, there are usually a group of them. They were 6 but i took 4 of them down before getting killed.. Point is - once you find them - they find you! (:

Post dxdiag and profiles cfg then we can talk. About a fix. Im sitting on i7 860 - cheap gpu and 6gb ram. No fps or stutter isues. Though im having issues with distance loot viewing.

i have i7 860 and crappy 130 euro gpu from asus. ASUS EAH5750 FORMULA I run smooth 60fps(limited) outside and smooth 34-55 inside cities in a firefight. I followed the guide and played a little bit with resolution. If you edit the cfg files, don't forget to make them read only so the game doesnt randomly change them. This will also make your last played server to be the same ( play button ).
