mr blackout you make this game unfair

I love Mr.Blackout. He led me to Jam Jar, Mr.Chow and Mr.Moon. Wow what a great bunch of guys. Love the different styles of play. I love the video of Mr. Moon and Mr. Chow setting up competing stands selling goods in Berezion.

    New AAR

Odine Lowe: I enjoyed your post. Thanks!
  3. LOL the 5 D's for killing the Undead.
  4. When I first started playing the game I thought finding that M4 or Mosin with a scope would be the end all. But now after having played for some time I find the first hour(s) of playing and finding items as fresh spawn to be the most fun. A close second is to be fully geared up and finding a fresh spawn to help. Usually friends that play but occasionally an unknown player too.

    Your funniest moment in Dayz

I not sure this is the funniest thing that happen but in my case the most embarrassing. The story starts back when DAY Z had the patch that brought us the shotgun. I was scavenging with my friend and he found one and some slugs for it. He of course had to try it out. It made some noise. Anyway a few days later we were waiting for my other friend to meet us at a location and I had happened to find a mosin rifle to replace his shotgun. We traded weapons and I had never used or held the shotgun. I picked it up and to my horror I accidently shot it off. Now the gun was pointed to the ground but I guess I was close enough to him that I blew off his legs. He got the black screen. I had nothing to revive him. We could not even scavenge his body because anything useful was destroyed. Well my buddies laughed at the situation and myself. I apologized but felt awful for running a gaming night with my stupidity.

    Your first murder

My first kill was in Novy Sobor on the way to the NW airfield. I was searching a building with the piano in it. I felt safe because there were several zombies in the area and no doors to the buildings where open. I proceed to clear the first floor and found nothing special. I heard a zombie agro on me while in the building. I figured I would proceed up the stairs and search the one room. I would do a quick sweep and kill the zombie outside the building. As I open the door I was confronted with a player laying prone on the ground with a SKS pointing at me. I thought I'm dead; I had my ax out. Nothing happen so I figure I caught him napping. I raced at him and started swinging. There was lag so I was not sure if I hit him. He ran from the room with me chasing him. We left the building and he started to run. He put away his gun and sprinted away. He alerted several other zombies while trying to escape me. I took care of the one that originally agro on me when I first entered the building. By now he had 2 zombies on him. He ran back towards me with a splitting ax raised. We traded blows. I think at that point I hit him or a zombie had because he was bleeding. He ran down the road away from me. I dispatched the rest of the zombies that agro on him and now had went after me. I followed the best I could but he was running bare handed. He then stopped to bandage himself. That is when I pulled out my SKS with PU scope and shot him. I felt elated and triumphant at my first kill. I considered him a bandit at the time. I ran up to the body and check out his loot. Most of it was ruined. He had no bullets for his SKS. I felt like a murder. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I wanted to try and play the game fairly and treat players as I would like to be treated. I had just ended up joining the ranks of the KOS.
  7. Acapona: Great guide. Have some new friends starting to play DayZ SA and will definitely have them check out this video. I also checked out your other videos on YouTube for DayZ. You are a good guy to the players you meet. Nice to see we have great people out there willing to help players out.
  8. Do you think they might have been pulled there by a fleeing player? Not sure once you get out of site of the zombie do they spawn away and back to their original location or do they just hang out where they lost sight of you? I remember when I first started playing the game; I had lost a zombie chasing me and was looking at a map and next thing I know I was being attacked by a zombie. I remember I was by a water source (a pond I believe and not by any structures), so that could be why there was a zombie or I really never lost the original one that was chasing me.
  9. Thank you, Thank you! Great post! Thanks, Jrein476
  10. Merino: Thanks for this guide! I saw your original one on YouTube. I can say it really help me to understand the hunger and thirst of DayZ SA. These new guides are even more useful. With this understanding thirst and hunger are no longer an issue in the game for me (well as long as I can find food and water). Thanks, Jrein476

How long does a door stay open?

OP great question. Wondered that myself. Thanks everyone for answering the question. I do try to cover my tracks by closing doors. Unfortunately I sometimes forget which buildings I have searched!
