Since they changed the spawns, I've found myself anywhere from just east of elektro to on the coast east of berezino.

A Few Noob Questions Everyone Wants To Know?

Sorry, you have no valid point. Rocket himself said not to buy the game in it's current state, it's not worth it. There were plenty of warnings.
-
I agree, it really should be mainstream knowledge about yourself, I really should know lol, but a lot of people just don't. And I'm sure it's on the paperwork from my lab work, but I didn't see any of the paperwork.
-
Burlap sack backpack without wood sticks is 12 slot IIRC.
-
Did you bother reading the rest of this short thread?
-
I rarely go to the doctor, but I just started with a new primary care doctor and filled out all the paperwork, got lab work done last week... Nowhere was my blood type asked for or given (I'm sure I could ask) but I don't have a clue what mine is.
-
I've seen several suggestions for binos, which I am all for, but I have not heard anything official about them.
-
I feel like this story abruptly ended.... Needs more content....
-
Coincidence, every time I've gotten to test my dudes blood it's different on different spawns.
-
Well most of the time people tend to get the drop on me and I die :P But when they don't immediately kill me they tend to just log off... Lady Kyrah: Exactly, which is why it's up to the devs, at some point, to implement a way to combat methods that are a direct result of exploiting the game. I don't so much blame players, if it's possible they will do it, and no amount of complaining will get in the way of that.

I am serious, I have never crashed on DayZ, never frozen, my internet has gone down though. It's the same wya in any major MMO, only you don't lose your character altogether. I agree it can suck, but NEVER getting to actually kill someone due to combat logging is more annoying to me. I have no problem starting over. That's my personal opinion.

Only helmets I've ever seen in SA are ballistic helmet and motorcycle helmet.
-
Yes in the case that it's not made up of ANY bright artificial colors.
-
Lol, awesome.
-
Reduced yes, but I have found pants since the update. Much nicer to not see them everywhere.
-
So the point of this thread is? It's a very known issue.

If I Spawn In Solnichniy One More Time I'll Puke.
T3hMurph replied to roflcopter127@yahoo.com's topic in General Discussion
I'm sorry, there's something wrong with taking 15-20 minutes to travel out of 60-120 minutes of play time? Did I miss something? I also work 12 hours a day, by the way. There's just no argument for those with limited play time to do things when it doesn't take that long to actually get anywhere unless you're running from east coast to NWAF, and even then at that distance it's not bad. And the point of the game is that it takes time to do things. -
I would say I wouldn't want this implemented until it's closer to release for stability reasons, but I have never actually crashed in DayZ at all. So really only issue is your own internet failing causing a D/C, and I am willing to live with the occasional DC due to ISP, personally.

No joke... Hell I'm not even sure it's 5 minutes sprint... -
+1

*IF* this is the case, and I feel for now it is not, it's a very small difference.

Currently no, you can open 50 cans of tuna, leave them in your bag and enjoy them at your own leisure. The quality itself doesn't seem to matter either, my backpack full of ruined beans tasted just fine! I would like to see this implemented though.

The idea is this: When you open your menu and try to exit, it will tell you that you are attempting to log out and must wait 20-30-whatever they make it seconds until you actually log out, at which point your character will disappear and all is safe. If during this time something happens and you must take action to preserve your character,s imply move and the timer will stop, until you are ready to attempt to log out again. If you force a log out, alt-F4, "Logout Now" button that skips the timer, to also include crashing (because there's no way to differentiate) then your character persists in the environment for the length of the timer, allowing you to still be killed. So even if you "combat log" your character can die and be looted. Then you add an in-combat timer that paces your character in the status of being in combat that lasts, say, 5 minutes, so if you engage, or are engaged, in any form of PvP you are incapable of using the proper "Logout" button until you're out of combat. Hope that cleans it up for you.

It has been all of two months. Just because you suddenly have money doesn't mean you can instantly hire and make improvements. I wouldn't expect a noticeable change for 4-6 months. It takes time to post jobs, interview, find the right candidate, they're not just going to hire anyone that says "I can codez." It's ridiculous how many people think because suddenly there's money means instant changes should happen.
