    TimeZone: GMT (From the UK but often play late at night as I work night shifts)

    Why you want to join: I am already part of a small clan and I really enjoy playing with other people to the point where playing alone is just boring. Seeing as there is a shot on sight mentality being part of a large clan would really help this :)

    Teamwork on a scale 1 to 10 as 10 being the highest: 10 - teamwork is everything :) Makes the game much more fun

    Do you have Skype(Only put Yes or No): Yes

    How long have you played DayZ(Dont Lie): Think it's between 2 and 4 weeks, not exactly sure. I'd say I'm experienced enough...also I used to be in the British Army so if we got a proper patrol out I could advise on basic tactics etc :)

    Today me and a friend were at our camp sorting out the loot we'd just got from 2 heli's (My first M107!). We were at 2 different tents when a few shots rang out...My friend was knocked out instantly so I bolted away up the hill and into a forest. Looking down on where our tents were but I couldn't see him. For some reason the other player hadn't realised that my friend was only knocked out so when he regained consciousness he let a burst off from his Mk48 to scare the guy and then bolted up the opposite hill. I looped around to my friend while he bandaged himself and gave him a blood transfusion. After observing for about 5 mins my friend saw the attacker and opened fire....The shots connected and he passed out on the floor...but then guess what? He disappeared before dying! Alt F4ing cheating douche bag!! On returning to our tents later an M16 had disappeared! Dammit!

    Not sure if this would be possible to write into the game but basically I'd like to see lootable pouches that could be added to your toolbelt like a set of webbing that soldiers would use (Webbing can be bought in any Army surplus store in the UK so it's not exactly that rare). You could set it up so each type of pouch could only hold certain types of gear:

    Ammo pouch - can hold an extra 3 clips of ammo like real ammo pouches.

    Med pouch - A few slots for medical supplies only.

    Water bottle pouch - 1 slot for an extra water bottle.

    Utility pouch - Couple of slots for extra stuff like flares or chemlights.

    I think this way you could specialise your character when working in a group so the team medic could have more medical supplies.

    Any thoughts?

    Ah didn't realise there was a seperate shortcut, I'm just trying to run it through the steam thing. I have placed the @DayZ folder in the OA folder. Redownloading the steam game now so will see if using the Beta shortcut will work. Also I first had a German version of ArmA 2 when I was living in Germany but for some reason it wasn't showing up on steam. Then when I bought CO they both showed up. When I run ArmA 2 on it's own it's still in German language so I don't know if that will have anything to do with it? Cheers for any help you can give...feel like breaking my PC!

    Hi, I am having a problem getting in to DayZ :( I have installed files as shown in the video and the tutorial. I have also updated the ArmA 2 beta and in the game it says I am on version 1.60.87580. When I go to log in to a server I get the following message:

    "Files "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ ArmA 2\addons\a10.pbo", "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ ArmA 2\addons\Ah64.pbo", "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ ArmA 2\addons\air.pbo", "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ ArmA 2\addons\air2.pbo", "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ ArmA 2\addons\air3.pbo", "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ ArmA 2\addons\animals.pbo" ... are not signed by a key accepted by this server. To play this server, remove listed files or install additional accepted keys."

    Not seen this fault anywhere else on the forum unless I'm being blind :(

    I originally installed ArmA 2 from a German copy as I was stationed there. I don't know if this could have caused the error :( Please help meeee well wanna play this game!

    Hey all I bought and downloaded both ArmA 2 games simply to play this game and I can't get on! Gutted! Basically I tried using the updater thingy and it gets to:

    Checking current ARMA II path setting...

    Found ArmA2OA.exe, game folder correct.

    Saving settings ...

    then it stops! Gutted! :huh: Really wanna play the game because it looks wicked but it's a no go so far! I also downloaded some of the files from the server but I wasn't sure exactly which ones to use from there...at the moment I'm stuck on version 1.60.87580 and I need 1.7 to play if I'm correct?! Pleeeaaassseee help! I got the next 2 days off work and I really wanna pew pew some zombies!!!
