Do deer stands still spawn loot? I've not found a single one with loot in but on the dayzdb it says they do? Anyone found anything in them?

You had humanity that started at 2500 (I think). Every time you killed a player that wasn't a bandit it would go down (think bandit kills would make it decrease but by a lesser amount). It would gradually increase up to 2500 over time and you could get more by giving people blood bags/bandages. Players below 0 were bandits and above 5000 were heroes.

Don't understand how the drill gun would work in real life. Surely a more realistic thing would be a nail gun or something? But yeah I think home made weapons etc should be added for sure! -
I like this idea. Means you'd have to really watch what you are doing! Can see something like this putting a lot of load on the server (lots of sleeping zeds and dead bodies) though so would have to wait a while for it to be implemented.

If you were kicked straight away first login they could be trying to cover the fact they are loot farming their own server. Just kicking anyone and using that as an excuse- 32 replies

You are in fact wrong....read the upcoming features post below. It says respawning loot and zombies: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/156129-confirmed-upcoming-features-for-dayz/ So at some point early this year we will have respawning loot, it's just not implemented yet -

Yeah I met 2 guys in the pitch black. Said hello and ran along with them for about 30 seconds. One of them asked me if I needed food and when I stopped to reply the other knocked me out with his fists. They then abused me for about a minute while I was KO and then ran off...Gotta love DayZ :) -
I have an idea for helping with the KOS problem. Rocket should read.

Yeah probably. Lots of buildings and the server is constantly sending you data about whether their doors are open etc. Also there is a lot of loot in those areas so the server will need to send you data about them too :( Hope you get rid of your data cap and can play properly soon mate!

Wouldn't surprise me...the engine is constantly sending you updates about everything that is going on within a 1.5km radius of your player. Think about how many objects there are in that sort of distance (Buildings, trees, rabbits, bushes etc)

The community has been like this since I started playing (April 2012)!!! KoS has been around since then and will stay around as long as the game is running from what I can tell! -
Not sure they will use helis in the mod if they are looking to make an authentic post apocalyptic world. I saw the idea for microlights somewhere and I think that would be pretty good though

I don't have my game atm but I'll tell you my settings: Anti Aliasing - Off Alpha to coverage - off HDR quality - low Ambient Occlusion - off Post Processing off Everything else is set to Very High (Apart from video mem set at auto) and then I run the game at 200% of the native resolution. Looks perfect (don't imagine the ArmA engine being able to make it look any better). Try that and see what your FPS is? Haven't tried increasing the settings that are off because the game looks amazing and things like post processing just make annoying changes! -

If you are gonna play ArmA 2 alone I'd play it with ACE/ACRE mods...makes it much better...just search on google "how to install ACE/ACRE"! Won't be disappointed! -

The servers have a set running time and restart when the time is up unless an admin forces it to restart. You were probably just really unlucky! -

Wicked idea mate :) I'd like the assault vests/webbing etc to have attachable pouches like in real life too. But you should only be able to attach a certain amount of pouches per base item
