PC Shutting down completely when playing DayZ

You're not alone in this. I've posted about the exact same problem. I've been playing BF4 on High Settings, and Crysis 3 at (5760x1080) on Very High settings with not a single shutdown or thermal event. I sit there and monitored my temps. I have also just ran "Extreme Fire Storm" in 3D Mark with not a glitch. I'm running a GeForce Titan, and the only game that completely shuts down my computer is Day Z. So it's not a thermal event or the PSU. I did notice that Day Z runs stable on "Rendering Resolution" of 50%, but once I up it to 100% it will always shut the computer down, usually at the main menu. I have had decent luck at 80% but it still crashes quite often. The only thing I can think of, somewhere in the graphic settings causes a crash.

    Rendering Resolution (5760x1080)

I actually have looked into Star Citizen :). It's ambitious but I hope they can pull it of. What little bit I've seen of it has definitely piqued my interest lol.

    Rendering Resolution (5760x1080)

Oh okay, I know it's still in alpha, so no big deal. At least it's playable at 50%. It's one I built about 2 years ago and have started upgrading it, graphics card was the first thing in and replaced my old 32' Monitor with 3 24' Monitors. Thanks for the insight Kevsta, Happy Gaming!
  4. Hey guys, I've got a 3 monitor setup on a Nvidia Geforce Titan, and every time I change by 'Rendering Resolution' higher than the default 50% it will cut my computer totally off, and no it's not overheating. I can play BF4, Crysis 3 and other games for hours and I've monitored my temps. It will play fine at 50% 'Rendering Resolution' it just looks like crap compared to 100%. If I set it to 100% sometimes it will crash even before the main menu. Just wanted to get some ideas from you guys and see if anyone else is having the same issue. The drivers are all up to date as well. If you require any more information I'll do my best to provide it. Thanks.
