I agree. Alpha or not. I'm really getting bored. I'm fully geared in both Hardcore and Regular. Damn, Mr. Rocket, I need something that keeps me playing. That even made me buy Arma 3 yesterday (Yeah, good for you Bohemia). 125 hours played. We'll have to wait for cars and base building, but c'mon, at least let build a little camp with some tents. That way I would get my group out of Rust's boring world and play DayZ for some more hours.

Sorry, I mean no offence, but to me that looks really retarded. A really bad troll try that makes no sense. Today I randomly started having serious FPS problems. My average FPS is 60-100 FPS on high settings but today it just broke. All I had to do is insert these lines in the launcher. -nosplash -skipIntro -world=empty -maxMem=2047 -maxVRAM=2047 -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=4 I use a 7870 + 3570 + 8GB setup. Back to 60-140 FPS. I don't see how pre-patch gear could possibly affect performance.

Because this is DayZ, resources are scarce (not so much now), we all ran a LONG road to get where we are and we are not risking it all just because ''player interaction''. There is HUGE distrust. People want your gear, not a can of beans or your tips. Also, get in a clan or a group. You'll get enough player interaction.

I KNEW IT! Well, it's such a well made hoax that I can't be mad about it. Kind of dissapointed. I just got my walkie-talkie and some 9V's and I was about to go to Zeleno, to investigate. Now I'll have to go back to doing nothing and pointlessly roaming around the map trying to find something. I still want to go to Green Mountain at night with my radio on.

For fuck's sake every intelligent geared or experienced player knows that it's just retarded to go to the coast and help newspanws. They want your gear, not your tips or opinions about the game. Being a newspawn =/= being a noob. This is even more true as the game is in Alpha state and you can die for nothing AND right now there is nothing to do but gear up and go PVP untill you get killed and have to explore the map and maybe find or try new/different stuff for your character.

Just found the SKS loader, an SKS, and ammo, threw it away at the moment I found an M4 and a Green Spraycan.

I killed two guys with the SKS, both headshots. I also made a video shooting and trying the SKS, and it's FOV settings. Really good. Only found 20 ammo though.

But yeah, I'm kind of new. 110 hours played, and know the map. And stalk the developers watching for new features. The first times I got fully geared I was so worried about losing it. Now..I get fully geared in little time and go PVP like crazy so I can be an ugly newspawn with stuff to do again. And I love it. The map is very little though. Or at least. Has very little interesting locations where to find loot. And loot keeps getting harder to find. So as much as I don't want to, I'll probably get bored of the ''See these abandoned little towns off the coast? Loot those, keep following main road, get to military base, loot. And PVP, untill you have the best of the best gear, take a pic of it happening a 100th time, and get killed.'' Start over. DayZ is nice as long as you have the time and patience for it. There's lots of things that keep me playing DayZ. Graphics, item detail, unique locations, HUMAN player interaction where you can see how much of an assholes the human race can be when it comes to survivng at it's FINEST. You're presencing some GOOD QUALITY PC GAMING PEOPLE.
