Thanks for the advice but not sure over clocking is for me. That said its a vague concept to me so I'll do some research on it.

Thanks for the tips, that site seems pretty reasonable and a fair selection. At this stage I'm budgeting £50 for a PSU and £120-£150 for the graphics card, probably a NVIDIA GTX of sorts. This is the current spec of my computer, a Acer TC-105 AMD A10 6700 quad core 3.7hz 1TB hard drive 6GB DDR3 Memory I'm hoping this is suffice?

    Can't pick up items

Hi have a wee problem in the fact I can't seem to pick items up. Found a wrench, food and fruit yet when crouched my player won't pick the item up. Tried looking at the 'interaction,' controls but still not having any luck. I'm able to open doors okay. Help please.

    Newbie Needs Some Help

Thanks for the replies, nice to see a friendly and helpful forum. Hmmmm from what people are saying looks like a new graphics card is required. I take it with the remaining spec of my PC will suffice? I'll admit I'm totally new to gaming on pc's and I bought this one with the intention of doing office work first off, gaming second.
  7. Evening, I have been watching DayZ being played on Youtube for over a year now and have decided to go and buy it. However the game runs not so well on my PC albeit my procresserer is an AMD A10 6700 Quad with 6GB DDR3 Memory. I can run the game no problem but the graphics have to be set a low. I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT620 graphics card and wondering if I upgrade this will this vastly improve my gaming experience? Advice would be greatly appreciated. Kris
