Backpacks should stay until restart. The lock will not lock your shed. You will need to buy a car with a key to lock. Or build a base with a locked door using wood and the lock you find. Anything left in a backpack after server restart unless it is on your body will be erased. Build walls around your shed. Get a lock and craft a door. All can be done with wood and a hatchet. A tent and anything you put in it will stay, until it is destroyed or looted by someone else. Same theory, lock your stuff by making a base. Or find a house. Put a door on it and lock it.

Play hardcore maybe? Third person and what He is doing isn't cheating on expoiting. He is using the camera that is built into the game. It happens in Arma also. Nothing to do about it but change to a hardcore server. I find them more fun for some reason anyways.

Sorry you feel that way, but others like it just the same as some don't. That being said, there are no rules for breaking in or trying to crack locks or codes.

I had this issue and eventually moved my base. If, as stated above it is build with 100% EPOCH materials, they can't walk into it, or even through an open door if you have a floor. Build a base in the woods, you will be fine.

5 days. But I play on servers that have good mixes of heros and bandits. Missions and such. Oh. And my base and building it have killed me more I think than bandits have lol.

ACRE TS3 Plugin. That is what you are looking for. It can be done, and has been done. You can have 50 people in one channel, all talking, and not hear a thing outside of the game. It is a purists wet dream. Get Private Hives on board with this, contact Nou over at UO and make it happen when this comes out of Alpha. That is the way to go. Especially if these radios in game are worth a damn, it will be the shit. As it is, Radios with ACRE are awesome. Different channels, frequencies, and if you have one, and a guy on the other side of a ridge or mountain, guess what....radio static.

I agree. Anything you sit in front of a computer for entertainment value is not real. Not even close. The important thing and good thing is people have a choice now. I like 1st person. Do I care or does it bother me of you dont? Not at all. To each is own.

All for appropriate gear being in the game. Gear and stuff uou find should mirror the back story of why we are in this area. Military checkpoints are another thing. As you know that before it went to shit totally they at least had to try to contain this. I keep thinking about the TV series The Walking Dead. You see all sorts of last stand areas if you would call it that where you could see they fought or tried to contain and control areas.

There is something scary and awesome at the same time having an open world game be capable of such interactions as that video. Pretty unique if you ask me.

People mad about people using 3rd person view to "eexploit " even though it isn't an exploit. Just the way it is. People then complain and talk shit when they have separate hives released got 1st person only. I just don't understand sometimes.
