1st Person player here in any server. Turn off the blur, and head bob, completely. You will be good then. Once you get used to it, you will wonder why you liked 3rd person. It has so much more immersion, to be in the grass, or woods, and actually have to worry about LOS (Line of Sight) and knowing your surroundings.

So ya. Please don't forum kill me for this as I know it is not at the tOP of game concern but maybe in the future for a fix could we get the head light, the one you wear on your head angled up a little more. As it stands it is kinda pointing down. You have to aim up to get it level. As someone who is quickly becoming addicted to 1st person night play, this would be great. Thanks.

Just keep trying man or fake it. You have any idea how many people I have held up with no ammo? More than when I did have ammo. Kinda makes it fun if you don't know they will call your bluff or not.

Just do what I do. I have been wiped probably a million times. Fist it out until you get your fire Axe. It is fun as hell running up on a freaked out bandit treating you like the biggest threat when you are almost naked and have your fists up. Lol

Fuck combat logging. I will make you kill me. Hopefully when they are with their horrible shit aim. Someone else hears them and rocks their world right after they feel all proud and Happy for killing and looting me. Get some. Or get gone.

Shit happens. Me and my Bud were just now fully kitted out. Had extra pistols and a bunch of water and food. We were headed to Cherno to help fresh spawns when we got jumped and KOS. Ni warning. No hold up. Didn't even try to rob us. Just killed us. Oh well. We made plans to do it again. Be more careful this time. You win some you lose some. We just lost. Next time. We might save a new spawn and count it as a win. Is it just more or did at least some others get this game with the same outlook?

Was with a player last night, Jan-3rd, and we were running up on Bolota, He stopped and said to me in Direct. "Alright, we might see a few people up here, so have your gun ready" About 5 minutes later, we were both dead....lol. Understatement of the century.

Does anyone know if the ability to have the roam in packs are in the works? I know in Arma2 editor, on custom MP missions I used to make, I have squads roam for miles all over the place.

Bandits and KOS will always be a part of this, as it should. I don't KOS, the first player I ever found I became friends with. He was new to the whole thing, never played the MOD. I am actually molding Him now, teaching Him how to interact. He asked me one time what to do if we see armed players, asked if we shot them....I said no. It is a choice....there are good and bad. I have ran across more Bandits, yes, but because the reasons stated above I think it most of the reason. This is Alpha. There is a lot of stuff missing from when the final product will be available...people tend to get bored and true, there is no real drive to stay alive and be careful like in the MOD yet... It will all come. I imagine when Private Hives come, vehicles, more gear that is harder to get, smarter zombies and more of them, things will change. Hang in there....

I do hope it is like ACRE. Nou has done a lot of good with that in Arma2 and Arma3. It is a great system with even great realism.

Agree. Cities now, without Zombies are hell holes, imagine adding the same people to them, only a Zombie version.

I like the new spawn. I ran across a new spawn way up north east, blew my mind. Was never like that in the MOD. I like it.

I'm interested. I'm new to the series. Probably only 15 hours of SA and the Mod Epoch combined but if you are willing to teach I am willing to help and learn.

Ok.....maybe it is just me that felt this way the first time, but shit, I am so happy to finally have a gun. I probably played like 10 straight hours one day, spawned, got myself some gear, like a Hoodie, Fire Axe, Food, Water, just hiking, enjoying myself. One thing that freaked me out the whole time? I was in a packed server, I had no weapon. I found a map of the SW region, and started on my way. Way back when, I kinda remembered this map from playing so much of it with the 7th Cav, a Tactical Realism Unit. I was a Platoon Commander for the Armor division, and rolled over these hills and towns a lot! I hiked far far far out of the way, stopping in small towns, put the axe to a good amount of Zs, and continued to rummage. My goal was the NW Air Field. Only having played about 3 hours of the Mod, but watching a lot of videos, I knew this was going to be a high reward area, with a greater risk. I needed a weapon though. This axe felt smaller and smaller every town I went through heading north. Some areas I could tell were already searched as every door lay open, this didn't help my apprehension of moving forward. I found a good many FX45's I think they were, a pistol that had no info, and found plenty slug ammo, but no rifles. I finally broke out threw the trees, facing the NW Air Field on the upper NW corner. I was lucky enough to have found a compass a couple hours earlier, so I had a good idea of my bearing. I probably watched that field for 30 minutes, moving around the tree line, stump to stump, tree to tree, just watching. I saw one guy promptly get killed by two Zs, and made my way in, having a good idea from watching He was the only one that far north at the time. The search was a success, the fire house held my ammo I needed, and quickly upgraded and fixed my M4. I am now pretty well kitted out. I have a rifle, 30 rounds, all in pristine condition, a pristine fire axe, and enough food and water to help get me back south.....to population. Tonight I am going to leave the Air Field and head East, to the town down the hill, and then work my way over to the coast and then south, south west to Electra. The sense of actually doing something was great. I had a mission, dodged bandits, escaped and domed plenty Zs, and I feel pretty good about myself. Thanks to the players and Devs for this experience. This is great, probably the most engrossing game I have played in a long while. Bush_Wookie10-4 Out.

LOL Funny picture. How true. I took forever. I had went through like 12 ruined backpacks before I found a "Damaged" one! At hour 7 I had a gun, that I thought would scare people away, but had no ammo.....for a while, I thought bullets were not in this alpha!
