Friend & I just died to a hacker at NWAF. I suspect he was using no trees + buildings exploit cause he shot & killed me when I was behind a wall. I literally saw the bullets from his mosin come from a direction that made it impossible to hit me, since i was standing behind a wall. Nonetheless, his bullets pierced the wall and killed me.

So I've been getting stuck on the please wait screen which appears during connection to server. I've found it only happens after I play on a server for a while(like 45 min), then switch to another server, wait for the 30 sec timer, then I get the please wait screen and it stays there forever. To get around this I simply exit back to server list and reconnect to the same server. No more please wait screen. I've only started getting this as of the latest patch.

The hatchet and fireaxe are completely useless now. Takes more than 10 hits to kill a zombie. Were they nerfed or zombies just buffed?

Are you hitting the windows key on accident?

GTX 660M is not equal to GTX 660 It's your integrated graphics that is holding you back. Best thing you can do is tone everything done as low as possible, and keep lowering the resolution until you settle on a framerate that you like

So I'm stuck inside the green house with stairs in the village next to balota. Basically I remember logging out inside this house a couple days ago. Today I log in and my character basically clipped through to ground level. I can see through the walls and run around in a limited space but I cannot do the vault trick to log out. Also, I can't respawn. Anyone know what I should do? I can't even kill myself.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I tried logging out and in and it doesn't work. Did this like 4-5 times on different servers. Also Tried night servers. Guess my only option is to just starve myself to death

I've been getting "session lost" on medium-high population servers (13-40). I'll spawn into the server and a couple minutes later, session lost. Really annoying because I have to wait a long time to spawn. Haven't been able to play because of this. Plz Bump if you have this problem/any info

It's not this, I am getting this error on almost every server I try to join that has more than 5 people.

It's in alpha and when you buy the game there's a warning that implies that you must not buy the game if you do not want a glitchy experience. Anyways I do wish there is more info on the issue, I'm sure lots of people are experiencing it right now; I still am. This has only happened to me after the recent patch. My internet is fine.

There's no "global chat", you have to be near the person for them to see your messages. Same goes for voice communication

Just holster your weapon before drinking, or stop spamming drink and actually look at the options before you click.

Pretty sure if you got a 12in car monitor those lags would go away : )

dayz controls cont. hold alt and use mouse to look around double tap alt to toggle look mode shift to walk double tap shift to walk right mouse click to toggle walk/run mode (weapon has to be holstered) q/e to lean left or right Numpad Enter to switch between third/first person (if the server allows third person) Also change your hold breath key to something else, currently the default controls are fucked up so if you zoom in you'll be holding your breath at the same time, which I read it depletes your energy.

If you really are trying to interact with other players on dayz you can do it smart and not just shout FRIENDLY. Basically the only thing you need to do to keep maximum safety is watch what is in their hands. For example if they have a weapon or axe in their hand, it'd be best to run away, not approach them at all, or keep a safe distance from them. Just give yourself enough reaction time.

Sounds like he has a store bought (premade) pc, if I was OP I'd just buy all new parts except the ssd and build my own pc.

The green building where the door is sealed/patched up with bricks and bloody piano inside- I almost always find a mosin or sks in there, and if not there's either waterbottle/fireaxe/ammo/food.

They spawn pretty much all over the base, you just have to look. They spawn most frequently in the bunk beds in the jail buildings though.

Woogie, your CPU is the bottleneck. You need a new CPU which also means you are probably going to need a new motherboard and maybe a new psu, depending on what cpu you decide to buy. Your graphics card is good, but I'd get better RAM. I assume you have DDR2 ram? You need to get 8gb ddr3 or 4gb ddr3 if you really don't have the money for it. Also lag in the city is normal, expect lag even if you do upgrade your pc unless you are planning to spend 2000+ on a gaming rig.
