Ok first off, the screen could look blurry for two reasons, you can have blood loss/sickness OR !! You settings just need to be 'reset' Esc>Config>Settings, should make it go back into focus if it is not blood loss. Second, the desaturartion needs to stay in my opinion, what better way to simulate blood loss than blurry vision, a weaker character and desaturation of color?? Do you have any idea how the body reacts to mass blood loss and fading in and out of consciousness?!? The desaturation needs to stay.

So, me and a friend were just running around Zeleno, when we see two guys with axes running down the road, one dead sprints towards me without a word, so me being me, I defend myself. I put about 10 rounds into him killing him, the second guy runs into a building and to the third floor. SO ! Me and my buddy pursue him inside, to the third floor, somehow my buddy gets killed by him.... :facepalm: So I end up killing the axe man... So two axe men down and a dead friend, and the axe guy calls me a douche bag... T_____T After his friend charged me and he kills my buddy I am the douche bag. We had no intentions of killing anyone we were on our way to meet up with another friend to log off in a group for tomorrow... well at least I got a respirator... Oh forgot to mention the first turd combat logged..

Good post, everyone that uses it just holds down left click and prays that their enemy dies, instead they need to do controlled pairs or single action firing methods...

With two rifles and a melee you will drop the M4 every single time, as for food, just eat it all until he says he is full, drink until he says he is full, at that point your energy/hydration/hunger should be high enough to regenerate the 3blood/second. Saline bags are combined with IV start kits and administered by other players.

Well.. with my personal experience with military, our M4/M16's are zeroed to 300m, even with ACOG;s and RDS (CCO's), we still train with reflexive fire and clearing buildings/rooms with them zeroed to 300m. If I remember correctly, and I am not a physicist by ANY means, the round leaves the barrel then actually raise, like an arch, then at 'x' meters the round begins to drop, at 300m zeroing, 50m, 100m, 150m, are not effected by the drop so it basically travels in almost a straight line, because after 'x' meters it raises, then drops after 'x'. Sorry if that makes no sense... I understand it, XD

An M4 barely has any kick... an M249 SAW is weak as well, the M240B is meh... I have shot hundreds of rounds through all of these at ranges I have been too and never had any pain from doing so... Maybe if you have like a 300 win mag then maybe... Or 12guage pump... But for an M4 or just abouth anything in the 7.62 family it seems a bit drastic.

Zeroed to 50 meters? O_O That is a weird number to me because we zero our M4's to 300 meters...

Ok.. so I started as a fresh spawn again today, I grabbed a shitty backpack threw some food and sodas in it, found a fire axe to slay zombies, then I found a water pump and drank until, "I felt really full." From there I journeyed from the far East Coast straight to NWAF, I skipped the actual airfield and hit Tent City, the medical tents at the Northern end of the strips, found me a canteen a few rounds then proceeded to Bashnya exactly North of the NWAF, I now have an M4, Combat Helmet, Hunters Pack, FXN45. It is truly not that hard to find gear in this game, that was about 1 hour or so of playing.

I usually stay in the North, unless I am meeting friends off the coat or in Sary or Cherno, I usually carry about a little over half of what you carry, you would be surprised how many rounds you can burn through on a long journey to the Southern coast killing bandits and zombies, especially the groups of bandits. And with that much ammo, pass it out to your buddies or trade it to other people you encounter.

Eh still don't like the idea of it, you have maps you can find in game, and then all you need to do next is terrain association and landmark assoication, before you know it you won't need one... I can usually find my way to the NWAF without a map, and I thought it was because when I had a map and pen in my inventory I thought I seen the option when clicking on the map, or something of that nature to be able to make markers.
