I am pretty sure you lose whatever is in your hands on log out anyways, I was holding a sawed off for a buddy was going to meet up with him and hook him up, server restarts, I hop back on and it is gone

I'd love a leg holster for my FNX so I can get it out of my inventory :)

Just try the military bases in the woods there is one near Vybor which is South of the NWAF

1. Throw your flashlight away 2. Tear your shirt up, put rags in jean pockets 3. Find a pump drink until you are stuffed 4. Sprint inland to all the loot you desire

I think it would be neat to find Mp3 players and headphones, of course it would muffle out surrounding noises (zeds, environments, players) but it would be cool to have older area related music pre-loaded onto them, of course you would need those good old batteries!

I play on two different public servers, that is it, because of friends from different regions of the world, one works with his time zone, and one works with my timezone. The only reason I added the comment on joining a populated server to go PvP is because that is what the majority of the people on here do is have clan battles or go find people to KoS. Only reason I suggest the god mode is because a TON of people are going to complain about loss of character during log out. Personally I always find a nice little set of bushes or shack to log out at, a fair distance from any type of foot traffic or zed spawns. There are a few other places that spawn the M4, Bashnya, the other Military Bases, and Green Mountain? Radio tower. But like I said earlier in Vybor the house next to the factory with the smoke stacks I found the shotty and Mosin right next to each other. I usually loot Bashnya, NWAF, Vybor, Mil Base near Vybor, run through the Sobors, all the way to the East coast, will round up to NEAF, then head back, endless amounts of loot, never had an issue finding ANYTHING. It just takes time, and people are too impatient.

I hot key mine to the 9 key, it will toggle in and out of your hands, also a tip if you use the M4 is to empty your 60 rnd coupled mags to get a stack of 60 5.56, then load it with your 30 stacks, then empty again, to fill your ammo can with stacks of 60.

But like I said before quit being so dependent on the airfields, I found a Mosin and a Shotgun both in one house within arms reach of each other.. It also comes down to patience and risk, take the risk get the prize. Start playing dirty, find a gun, sit in the barracks close all of the doors to the building but the very last one for cover, lean around it and wait, aim down sights at the door, as soon is it opens fuckin' lay waste to them, then you have your precious loot.

Ok in my 50+ hours of gameplay I have NEVER died from a ladder or stairs... And I went all the way to the top of all of the apartments and the top of the radio tower, how does fly from a ladder?

By all means I am not condoning in it, or supporting it. Just saying global wipes will not fix it.. probably just make it worse. And I have never done it, I get my stuff the right way :)

I don't get why everyone complains about the loot, I came across a Mosin (Pristine) and Shotgun (Pristine) in a house with two snap loaders within arms reach of each other, so I took one into my hands, loaded it, and ran all the way from basically Vybor to Dolina to give it to my friend... Quit playing highly populated servers until you already have gear, because you won't find anything, QUIT going to the same spots everyone else goes too, quit being military gear dependent, the log out time does suck, don't get me wrong, but it is as easy as running off into the bushes and logging out, 30 seconds seems a bit extreme, I would say more of a 10-15 to keep players logging out from being taken advantage of. I also have a screenshot of all the weapons.. when I came across the two I had an M4, FNX, and the 357 Magnum, I literally had every weapon in the game within arms reach. Gave the shotgun and FNX to my buddy, left the Mosin. And the switching between servers I think as well is kind of extreme, that is a big turn off from playing the game, say you didn't realize it was a 3PP:OFF now you have to wait 30 minutes in there or log out and wait 5 minutes. Say you are playing on an over-populated server and a buddy gets on too bad server is full, let me go link up on another with my pal, oh shit I can't I have to wait 'x' minutes. For the log out timer I think your character should have 'God' mode on to prevent abuse and other future complaints such as, " I keep losing my server when I log off " because of banditry or a zed you didn't see coming before you logged out, ending in the death of your toon.

Don't really trade with many people, just give stuff away. Last time I helped a new spawn we got attacked by zeds and I passed out from blood loss, knowing I had an epi-pen in my inventory and saline I ask him to patch me up, he decides to rob me blind and log out. So helping new spawns doesn't involve an armed escort through the airfields anymore, just some beans and water and I will be on my way.

Heard of it, yes. 90% of players doing, you're nuckin' futs. Done it, no. Character wipes to 'fix' it, no... they will just continue to dupe either way.

I don't think so the zed would have surely finished him off either way

Try right clicking, I know sometimes it toggles and can slow you down a lot

Don't really consider a .357 Python a WW2 weapon either...

by the way dude... *whisper* I just robbed you with no ammo.. but hell yeah, I don't go down without a fight or trying to flee, some guy held me up in the hospital when I was a fresh spawn, I literally had nothing, no clothes or shoes, he wanted by blood.. but nobody makes me bleed my own blood. So I fought a guy who had a fire axe barehanded, got wounded but I escaped, and that character survived for 30+ hours of game play until my friend accidentally shot me because we were playing with a group of zeds...

Only thing I can think of is you may have hit the space bar on accident, I just double tap shift to get my guy moving at the faster speed, then double tap W for him to sprint, no issues looking around with alt on my end.

I think the status of foods should give between 100% energy and 'x'% per level of quality, and if a slight chance of getting sick.

I am just speaking in general of the weapon system it is really accurate, we qualify on 500m ranges with iron sights in the military... Haven't played much of ArmAII but I do know that the accuracy isn't all that bad in DayZ IMO
