Or I could use that said loudspeaker to lure people into my town and just kill them. ;)
-
I would say this is desync - not a hack.
-
It was a bug, man... No matter how much you want to deny it.
-
Shoot 'em in the head next time. Spraying and praying tends to ruin gear.
-
For loving the British Army, you sure don't know much about camouflage. ;) Obviously you'd make sure it works prior to painting it but afterwards...
-
Like Rudette said. Also, in regards to painted guns, I sure as hell (already do) would camouflage my rifle and my gear in a zombie apocalypse. If it means putting on camouflage paint, camouflaging my rifle, and wearing tactical gear just so it takes you longer to see me and easier for me to kill you... Well, that's exactly what I'm doing. In this kind of scenario, it's me and my family - everyone else is dead.
-
Yes, you can. I mentioned it. ;)

Holding more weapon can become cumbersome. Besides, you can already carry a sidearm, rifle, sawed-off shotgun, and a melee weapon at the same time. I think that's good enough. Edit: Added "at the same time" so to inform those who don't already know that you can carry all of these at once...

No way! I would hate for this to be implemented. What good is dual wielding pistols? It's inaccurate as all hell, it's a waste of ammo, and this kind of thing is only done in Hollywood. Unless you have extensive knowledge and practice with pistols, this isn't practical. Besides... This isn't Call of Duty.

They disappear after 10 minutes. Sometimes bodies bug out and they will slide along the terrain or they disappear into the ground.

If you were the three guys who thought you could detain and then kill a friend (who was a freshspawn) and get away with it... You thought wrong! Not only did I stall you long enough (as a freshspawn myself) but the rest of my team was in position for a good 20 seconds to catch their breath before killing all three of you. Thanks for the awesome M4, Mosin, and other awesome gear! We appreciate it. ;)

North of Kamishovo, I believe. You'd know if you were apart of that group because they were calling out our group's clan tags.

I believe there are hackers but I've yet to encounter one. I don't think they're as common as you may think. Maybe I'm wrong but I must have been lucky. Now I see you're problem... You said you were walking. You should try running! ;) In all seriousness, like you've already stated, this is an alpha. There will be vehicles in due time. Just be patient and learn short cuts or choose different routes to different areas. Also, this is a survival game. You don't think there would be people sniping or killing each other in a real post-apocalyptic world? When it comes down to it... It's my family's survival over yours. Sorry, dude, but I'm killing you if it means getting supplies off your corpse to feed my son and wife. Edit: Whoa... I had butchered my own post... You should be able to read it now.

Like Little said. But I have been playing where I suddenly died for no reason before - no gun shots, not because of starvation or dehydration... Just died. I think it's a bug but it isn't too common. At least not for me.

How Many People Were Killed By You?
TheNorCalSniper replied to colbykid's topic in General Discussion
I've killed maybe five or six but I've been killed maybe ten to fifteen times. -
Great idea but don't think it's too practical. Unless you've operated a real UAV, I can tell you from experience that it's a pain in the ass so a typical Joe Schmoe would have a problem with operating one. That and I don't think it fits the game too well. However, I think maybe being able to climb trees would be interesting. It'd be nice to climb a tall tree and use in-game radios to communicate to your partner/team on what you see.

Then go to the northern airfield?
-
Did a dev break into your house, put a gun to your head, and force you to buy this game? No? Didn't think so, bud. You must have gotten lost because it doesn't take me three hours to get to an airfield.

iPhone? Droid? Download iZurvive. You're welcome. ;)

Or when playing dead, it looks no different than if you are actually dead. With that said, you can do dead checks which is when you nut tap someone or flick their eyeball. Obviously with nut tapping, there is going to be a pain reaction whereas there is involuntary muscle movement when flicking someone's eye. So maybe when coming up on a body, you can do a "dead check" by clicking their body. You can always put two more additional rounds into a body to ensure it's dead as well.

Ah, gotcha! Well, most hand and arm signals are self explanatory. Also, in real life as a civilian, you could still easily come up with a random meaning for the signals. I.E. Raising your rifle may mean you see teddy bears. You dont have to be in the military to use hand and arm signals. Hunters, police officers, and even paint ballets use them. You simply using your hands to communicate is using hand and arm signals. Like pointing at your eyes with two fingers then pointing at something with your index finger is a way of telling someone you see something. In other words, everyone, regardless of occupation, race, or nationality, uses hand and arm signals. As for people behind you, just turn around and face them. You can tell them to "halt" or "freeze" then give them the signal that you want to give. For people at a distance, just use your hands and arms. For night time, flashing your flash light in different intervals is another way to communicate to friendlies. If they know the code, you could flash your light three times, then they respond with two flashes, then you finish off with one flash. That tells both parties "hey, he's friendly!" You can come up with whatever you want so long as the other party understands what's being said or done.
-
Either do some research into them or make something up. It's a game, after all. All that matters is that everyone in your group understands what each hand and arm signal is.

meet Alex - funniest dayz video i've seen yet..
TheNorCalSniper replied to irl-calibre's topic in Gallery
This was epic! lmao One thing... I noticed one of the guys bugging out with slinging and un-slinging his rifle. In case you didn't know, you can fix that by going prone and rolling on the ground once or twice. -
Weapon malfunction! Has this happened to anyone else?
TheNorCalSniper replied to oifriendlyfire's topic in Gallery
The gun could have broken. If a weapon is 'ruined' then it won't work so it could have deteriorated. I could be wrong but that's the only thing I could think of. -
Easter Eggs? Aliens? Mysteries? [Official]

It'd be awesome to have random transmissions like the one in the video. Maybe do random ones throughout the game at random times (every couple weeks or months) where it kind of gives us hints on what may have happened to cause the world's end. Even creepy transmissions from NPC survivors.
