I hope the bandit and hero thing never gets implemented into the standalone. I saw the mod and thought that with those two "factions" having their own skin and clothes would be a disaster. I mean, are we in a survival situation, or a war between two factions?

Another thing that concerns me is the suggestions subforum. It's a total disaster with redundant suggestions and people posting things that have already been suggested. I hope an admin or mod creates a thread about things NOT to suggest because it already has been acknowledged or simply can't be done and pins it. Just like on the Kerbal Space Program suggestion subforum.

Search on civilian buildings (hospitals, offices, schools, etc.). You will never or rarely find one on military bases.

Got some new suggestions, also a reason to bump the thread. How about respirators? No, not those military gas masks or the respirator that's already in the game, but respirators that serve other purposes for jobs. Respirator for painting hazards: Respirator for chemical hazards: They may look the same, but they can be different in the game in terms of the name and the filter shape.

Well there was this one time I met a guy and he- I love this game.

Being a fresh spawn and looting in peace when suddenly a fully kitted guy came out of a corner and filled my body with hot lead that was fired from his M4. Well, it was Cherno where I spawned on, so no surprises. This happened a few patches ago before people would only spawn on the East coast.

You know, I have heard of underground bases coming into the game soon. Perhaps one of these complexes are found on Green Mountain? Would we see military survivors still holed up there and it would be something like a dungeon to raid and take all of their stuff? Obviously these guys would be pretty freaking armed to the teeth able to deal damage like other players.

Have you read one of my previous posts? Some server IPs are experiencing problems with the connection to the Central Hive, the place where the database is kept. These servers cannot receive nor save information for the database properly. Here's the post from Dean Hall: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/167343-servers-with-connection-issues-to-central-hive/ This is why on some servers you respawn as a fresh spawn while on others you're perfectly fine. I'm already tired of explaining this stuff, you people should head to the announcements and information subforum frequently or follow the developer's twitter accounts. The latter is more preferable since the developers are more active on their twitter accounts giving updates and teasers. I hope that I no longer find more threads about this. If more pop up, I will just copy paste what I just wrote here.

I do not know why people are giving up now. Your character pre-patch is still fine unless he died or hasn't existed a few days prior to the patch.

This is why I have my filter set to ping under 100. It's like an auto notifier saying that right now I have a shitty connection and that I cannot play for the moment. :)

The search function, USE IT. What's happening right now is that those servers don't have a proper connection to the Central Hive. Therefore, they cannot receive and save info to the database correctly.

Report those loot farming servers. Hope those servers get removed, I mean, could you at least let us know that you're a pathetic child that has to pay to bring up his/her own server to gear up?

Prototype. Loved the first game, the second one, not so much. Ha, yeah, I have the game with the mod on. Too bad I cannot reach Pripyat due to the freaking last helicopter that I have to find that's inside a complex full of the fucking Snorks.

I would probably die on the first week. I live in a house with my two brothers and my mom and dad. I also have two dogs and four parrots. Yep, wouldn't last long.

There are no factions in the game. What are you talking about? There are only survivors and zombies. In my opinion, the Hero and Bandit thing was horrible.
