1. Character "deletion" is not a bug, it's a server-side issue. 2. If you spawn as a fresh spawn without dying, then immediately log out and log back on another server. 3. Where did you log out? You could've been found by another player and killed for loot. Also, wrong place to post this. Use the bug tracker.

Guys, guys! Don't worry. Remember this, bans come in waves. These cheaters must have already been flagged by BattleEye and VAC as cheaters and they will be banned along with some thousands of people that are also hacking. The numbers might surprise you but what can you do? What makes me happy is that multiplayer only games that have VAC secured servers will be useless to these hackers when the next wave occurs. :)

Steam was the best choice any developer would make. I mean, why would one choose that other distribution platform? The OP of the thread just must be mad, don't worry guys, he just has to get over the rage. :)

I prefer the FNX 45 because of its clip capacity, rapid fire, and customization :) I use a fully modded FNX's flashlight in night servers when the gamma exploit is useless. The pistol saved me from a KoSer on the NEAF when I peeked inside the jail building. As soon as I poked my head inside the building, I was greeted by the flying bullets of a fully kitted guy with an SKS. Needless to say, I gunned him down and the fight lasted two seconds. He only managed to land one shot, in my torso, ruining some of my SKS ammo :( What made it worse was that it was a few patches back when the body despawn feature was implemented. So as soon as I bandaged, the body was gone because of the bug that made bodies despawn in like 10 secs.

Technically, they're not anti-cheat systems. These systems flag users that are cheating and then bans them on waves. BattleEye bans them from the network of servers that use it, and VAC bans them from VAC secured servers (All Valve released games with multiplayer have servers that feature the VAC protection software, meaning that if you cheat on DayZ, you get banned on those VAC secured servers ON OTHER GAMES too.) No, modding should be set aside until, let's see... Final stages of Beta? The game is constantly changing and updating. <-- This will make a hell hole for modders since they're going to have to constantly keep updating their mods for them to be compatible with the build. That, and the bug tracker will have a hard time getting decent reports when people are yelling for a fix for a game breaking issues that was brought by a mod.

Just do what you want to do dude. The game was designed to not stop you from doing stuff like killing other people. I don't think asking for advice on the community is a good idea since you will get mixed opinions.

I'm not playing anymore until the next patch comes. When Wednesday comes and the game updates, I think that hackers and third party software programs have to update their hacks so they can be compatible with the build. Just like mods, no?

I have an inquiry about an activity survivors practice. Why would one hide corpses? Doesn't this practice remove corpses from the map that may contain valuable objects such as food and weaponry?

Parasites... Now there's something that's interesting. But, what are the chances that you'll contract a parasite? Resting in a forest? Being in ponds out on the wilderness? Drinking from wells that are in a bad shape? Lots of possibilities!

Well, I generally have what I need, so I just log out, and wait for the next patch. Right now not much to do.
