No. The anti-cheat softwares works in waves. Users are flagged with cheating and when the day comes, they all get banned. If both VAC and BattleEye weren't working then the whole game would be cheaters left and right. Also, lock. (I have read your posts on your profile and for the looks of it the only time you're on the forums is to whine about hackers and giving false information saying that a problem hasn't been fixed when it has. Your only three topics, including this one, are all whining about hackers.) -
Last time I saw people do a gathering in DayZ, it was inside a church at Elektro and someone threw a grenade inside, killing EVERYBODY. I saw a video about it a few years back but I can no longer find it. :c

He's right. This is why berets like the Cherno-Russian movement and others are present in the game. It could be that the lore of DayZ is the events that have happened in Arma 2 on the map of Chernarus before the virus hit.

In all of my time on DayZ it has been 50/50 in the rate where I encounter a friendly and a hostile. -
Sounds like rubber banding issues to me. if you encounter something like this and you're extremely worried then it's best to leave the server. If it was a hack, then I would say that your computer has been compromised and being taken over by somebody far away. But this is unlikely unless you were THAT stupid to let someone upload backdoors into your computer without your anti-virus software doing anything about it.

Ak-47 is mentioned way too often on games considered that they're no longer being produced. What I hope is that they only implement the newest Ak designs (AKM, Ak-74. the submachine pars, etc.) -

I'm sorry but writing (typing) and reading is considered verbal communication. What I think in non-verbal means body gestures/language. Just learned this last week on my 9th grade Speech class. B) Also, not a bad idea. -
As a Panamanian that lives in the continent of America, I have to say, that I hate the US for using the term "American" referring only to them. On-topic. The "American" content in the game is just a little if we think long term when Bohemia adds more items that fit the Post-Soviet State of Chernarus.

I think I got spared because this happened on Green Mountain. I don't know, but that place gives me the creeps after I heard about the place being haunted and those videos where strange noises were coming out of people's radios in the mod. -

I got hold up fully geared by a squad of people that also were kitted. They took my fully kitted M4 and some 60 round mags then they let me live. After all, I complied with their demands. I was inside a jail building then over the mic they told me to go out. I didn't draw any weapon, I just stood up, and walked out. I stripped down everything as they demanded, they took some stuff, then they left. I was sure that if I did anything stupid I would die since the squad was like four or five. To this day that same character that got mugged by them is still alive. :) Happened some months ago.- 65 replies

All of those things are Arma 2 assets. You ain't fooling me. Also, guys, there's soon to be airplanes in the SA as well! No tricks! Ingame footage as well!
