Still no desync fix?

Dont know whats up with mine i can be a fresh spawn and be running totally fine until i get near any player and cant do anything at all just full desync immediately. Very annoying.

Only difference between the test servers and the main servers is BE. So it 100 percent proves the problem to me. I dont have a single bit ever on test. Cannot even get near ANY player on the main servers without full desync.

Play on the test servers and you'll be able to play with him. Its annoying as hell i know, but until someone up top finally see's this as the problem it is we have no choice.

Its not the corpse looting for many of us. It absolutely has something to do with battleeye. Since none of us had this issue before battle eye was implemented and now any of us that play on test servers have no desync at all. Hopefully this soon get put at the #1 priority spot cause most of us cant play on the regular servers because of this almost 2 month long problem.

Keep trying to find this in dayz settings on steam but am not seeing it anywhere. Can someone help me out here? Found it sorry.

Man this has been an issue since battle eye servers started. They dont want to admit its battle eye but go to a non battle eye with your friends you wont desync AT ALL. It's very annoying and im sorry your the one getting it. In my group i was the one getting it as well. And after coming back after a bit of a break i ran across a group of 3 last night and yep still there. No idea how you can fix it. Tried absolutely everything in every thread about it. Unfortunately until they make it a top priority to repair alot of us just cant play on the normal servers.

js that 14 is high school. Its sad to me that parents shelter their kids so bad that they get in high school and get separated from all the other kids cause parents wont stop pampering them. They get isolated in high school not knowing how to cope with bullies and such. Hell when we where growing up we didnt even wear seatbelts in cars. Ate natural butter..You wanna prepare your kid for the world? Let them interact with people before they are forced to and dont know how to act. Just my opinion. I have an 11 year old and a 10 year old both on honor roll active in sports and my daughter a cheerleader. Boy almost won state for wrestling. My boy plays call of duty on xbox live and talks smack as he's playing. Its being a kid. You want your kid ready for the world you instill in them morals and a will to fight for what they want and you point them in the right directions. Just my thoughts. Good luck either way.

If you ask this question then nothing but carebears and my lil pony is gonna be ok for him. You shelter him to long and your gonna give him a hard life imo. Let the kid experience life. Let him be prepared for people like us in the workplace before he gets there thinking everyone farts rainbows.

I haven't been able to play in a week because of steams stupid safegaurd that keeps sending verification email to sina.com instead of my email which is some chinese website. Account is not hacked, password still works just wants me to verify this computer even though all my steam games are on it. So basically because steam has the very worst customer service from any company in the world, i've spent money on this game and cannot play it because of this third party provider. Can you at least make it where you can play without the support of steam once you've bought the game?

wow what a bunch of tools. I was just looking for a solution and posted it under that title out of sarcasm. Its troubleshooting. If you didnt have anything positive to say then piss off imo. As you seen from my last post i apologized to forum management for way i wrote it up. And for the few being negative my account didnt get hacked, its actually quite simple. I ran malware and it cleans up registry errors. One of these was a steam file. So the game has been unverified on this computer now. The sina.com is not from a hacker its from an error on their end which was explained to me BY STEAM SUPPORT 3 years ago when it happened the first time. The error was caused by an old email address that no longer exists and they supposedly updated my email and the problem was never supposed to happen again. Was just terribly frustrated over once again having to deal with this for what could be another month or more. To the couple actually trying to help thanks, but im pretty sure im just screwed atm. Trying to look at it positively now, maybe it will be fixed by the time i buy my new gaming rig. If not i'll just stay in league till it happens. You can close this thread mods, im done with the negative posts from people with nothing better to do than annoy me with sarcasm, when if it happened to them they'd be equally as pissed.

dude my account hasn't been hacked. Its just sending the authentication for this computer to the wrong place. It did the same on my old computer about 3 years ago. And you can google and look at all the people who have experienced this. You cannot call steam support either. They respond only be email. Last time it took almost a month before i got a reply. Not resolved. A reply. Going on about a week and a half now. It's all funny till you have to deal with steam support. I've dealt with EA. At least i'd hear something in a couple days. Nothing like waiting a month before you even get them looking into it. Its not on my end its on theirs. I could have stopped this. And i'll warn anyone so hopefully no one else has to deal with this nonsense. You can turn off their steam guard in your settings. Something i should have done a long time ago. I didn't think i'd have much luck on these forums but was kinda hoping i'd find some other form of solution. I cant even log onto my steam account and go into their forums for help because of it. So basically screwed out of my money. Consoles sounding alot better lately. Sorry for those who didnt wanna read a problem in the troubleshooting section. And sorry smashT it was pure frustration of coming to so many dead ends to play a game i fell in love with. And the fact i've had to deal with this before with steam. Extremely frustrating. I've tried about 30 different ideas on ways to fix it. Have 14 remarks on my support ticket and still waiting for first answer from them. Feels pretty bad when you spend your hard earned money and cant use something you bought.

Guys just a heads up. If you filter, and change the minimum ping up to like 200 and turn battleye to no you get some more servers. I found a us one where i had like 110 ping but still had no desync so i could actually play. Hope this helps with the frustration.

So me and my friend logged off in the firehouse in elektro. I've been fighting this desync issue since last patch and constantly coming into fights where the guy im fighting disappears or my friend. Making me a bit helpless without my wingman. We'd just spawned ran into elektro hit the schoolhouse, and both firehouses. We ran back to the "inner city" firehouse to see if we could find any action as we both had weapons now. After a minor firefight i had been wounded by this phasing assailant, and could not bandage myself due to the desync. But it did let me drop the backpack i was pulling full of a medkit and other gear. Me partner quickly bandaged me up and we decided the desync was enough annoyance for the night. After an hour or so i had read about adjusting my ping in server filter to find these non battle-eye servers. I tried and found a us server with decent activity. What the hell i'll test this server and see if the desync issue goes away like so many have noted that play in non battle-eye servers. Here's where it got hilarious. See i'd been fighting almost impossible fights lately because of the desync, and this time i logged on to test this without my partner. After a few short seconds in game i hear some footsteps outside the large doors. "Yo, friendly in here." I cried fully expecting the desync to kick in with an enemy so close. To my surprise a geared gun toting, firemans axe carrying, murderous evil spawn of satan, came blasting at my many cries of friendly. But whats this? Im not lagging. He's still visible. And apparently a really horrible shot. The magnum cried to me to let it free! KAPOW. Elektro celebrated my joy as the sound rang off. Then again, and again. Then click, click, click. He was already down, but the excitement had pulled me in and suddenly i became a trigger happy psycho. (I had split magnum ammo with friend. I only had the three shots haha) Wait he had a motorcycle helmet. He is still alive. You gotta be kidding me. He's getting up. I quickly jump around the corner pulling out the 45. Once again i tried to end this fight. "Friendly dude. Back up and we cool, you can go." Apparently "you can go" is the phrase that sends him into a rage, because he reached for his weapon and seeing the shoulder of him around the corner, i knew peace was not an option. Strafing to my left he came into view. The 45 clip quickly drained, as shot after shot rang and he still wouldn't fall. Then finally he dropped again. Everything was grey. I had been hit in this firefight. Blood poured and i rushed to look into my backpack for a bandage. Wait, I don't have it anymore. Panic hit. Then it hit me. I quickly looted his body, ripping the shirt from his dead corpse. Furiously bandaging myself. I could hear footsteps. He had a wingman as well. And his i'm sure had no ideas of peace with his friends killer. I made a quick decision to grab the backpack and firemans axe from treasure chest of items that was this guys friend. Shots rang out from the street. I quickly sprinted rushing towards the other firehouse. Luckily he had not been prepared for me to flee. Or was nervous i was baiting him. He gave me some breathing room. I ducked into a shed. The dirt floor kind that offers no rewards for those seeking treasure. I hear him walking, then gone. I calm down and reevaluate. I rush outside jump the fence and make my way around the residential homes all the while looking for him. After a quiet minute i decide to chance it and make my way to power plant firehouse. After looting again he comes firing. Sprinting once again i lose him in the power plant, and dive under a broken wall. Made my way up the hill to the watering hole and waited it out confident i had lost him. Minutes went by me aiming into the sun waiting for a shadow to appear. Nothing. Victory was mine. Now the reason i wrote this was for one to see if the guys from last night seen it, and say :P The second was to let new players know that this could have went totally different. I try not to kos everyone i see. The interactions offer alot more out of this game. In this particular scenario we and the assailant could have possibly traded some items or worked together clearing out the city. Held hands and skipped threw the meadow. But in all honesty the tension came when both where surprised by the other. Moments like this is where a new player should back off and take cover and offer a peace or decide to leg it. Hope it wasn't a boring read but hopefully a new player just coming in can see just how quickly things can go sour, and maybe how to survive the encounter. Btw that motorcycle helmet almost won him the engagement. If your new and you find one.....WEAR IT.

Motorcycle helmets the best imo but so annoying to look at. Your immune to punch knockouts. Every time i see a guy with guns after a fresh spawn run to elektro i bum rush him and punch him in the head, take his gun and shoot him. Definatly needs toned down imo. Maybe put some love into worthless melee items ( crowbar, bat, shovel, wrench, anything thats not an axe.)

Im not gonna complain about new features coming out every week. What i am gonna complain about is not being fast on repairing game ending bugs. You have hundreds of ppl who cannot even play because of this desync issue caused by your latest patch. Vacation or no a professional would make that top priority over everything imo. Dont lose your loyal fanbase imo.

Wait the game doesn't update?

That doesnt work either. Its weird it shows the item in our hands to other players but our client doesn't actually put the item in our hands. Nor can you pick up any items.
