I'd not noticed this before but today i had some pristine cargo pants, the 6 slots where full of ammo. I had a bit of a foray with a zed, i got hit (didn't bleed tho) killed the beast and moved on... then i noticed my pants are now ruined and eveything bar 1 slot is also ruined. Cant think of any other reason why i'd get ruined pants other than this. Thinks i need an ammo box and a packed lunch box :)

Should be an aggression timer, if you didn't fire, use axe, punch etc your char should be able to log out as normal. If your actively involved in a shoot out and try log i think the 30 seconds should be bumped up to at least a minute or more. People have to genuinely have to log off for other reasons at times, kids, door, phone etc etc.

Just for a bit of fun really, on the main page of dayz forums. Something saying along the lines of... Servers active or down (maintenance?) current active survivors (in game) And some sort of scrolling list that shows some stats of the day, including.. How manys tins of beans consumed, zombie kills, Death by Zombie, murders, etc Feel free to add to the list

How'd you get rid of being stuffed? cos I always seem to be stuffed when I become hungry and/or thirsty! I am literally stuffed

I'd agree with the 30 second timer but not 'somebody is in your radius' timer... I've 2 young kids and sometimes need to log off in an hurry. I dont want to leave my char unattended unnecessarily. If you're in a shoot out, bottle it and log off you could probably be found within 30 secs.

Thats funny cos I was dying of starvation, had an infection And needed to die! Thought id jump off the nearest factory... climbed up onto the roof, took a look at the scenery for one last time then jumped... basically I survived, no broken legs or anything. I then found a rather high tower, jumped and same again lol! In the end i got two zombies to finish me off!

Sarcasm ? Managed to log into a 40 slot experimental server for a session, ive played maybe 2 hours at peak gmt time. Headed inland and i now have a sks, more ammo than i need, more rice and fluid than i need. Not every house gets looted and sometimes people miss things. Just saying :P

Tried cleaning both guns multiple time and they are still at worn (from damaged) Could it be like drinking from a well.. click until your stomach is full or keep cleaning until the gun goes pristine ?

Found one this morning, still have it in my possession, not tried it tho, just inspected it. it doesnt open up like a med kit to reveal any cleaning equipment. Edit: made my magnum and FNX go from damaged to worn after cleaning

I'm UK but working shifts, as it stands i'll have to play Dayz in the dark this week. Yes i could try the gamma trick, the game looks crap like that. i could play with standard settings and run around with a torch at night but that would make me stand out wouldn't it? I'd like to see a quicker day night cycle ;)

What are they for, making sawn off shotguns? How about chopping off hands and feet of captured survivor's? Ive seen story's of handcuffing, force feeding chemicals, blood transfusions etc Why not ? Lol

LOL :-D Not that I'd do it myself, people seem to be after the realism. If the tools are there why not use them in a multitude of ways? Capture survivor, chop his feet off, bandage, clean wounds, give saline.. Then lol as he try's to roll off into the sunset.

I came across a zombie kitted out in military gear, not seem one of these before. They new or been around for a while ?
