This is a good point. But again these aren't "walkers" and decaying zombies, they're infected people a la 28 Days Later style.

This is a good topic. It's a tough one too. On the one hand, having the gun out makes you a bit slower but also quicker to react to trouble with your gun. On the other hand, it makes you look aggressive and maybe more likely to be shot at on sight - assuming the person doing the shooting doesn't just shoot at everything that moves.

My best guess is down the road once all the other systems are in place, (limited sprint, exhaustion, and AI improvements) is that yes some, probably not all, will be faster than us.

I posted something like this in another thread today. I was walking through Electro and found a stick in one of the apartment buildings. "I'll never need this shit" (with a nearly empty backpack, mind you) and not 10 minutes later I fell off a 4 foot drop and broke my legs. My friend laughed his ass off as I crawled off a building to my demise. This was the first time I broke my legs in the game, and the last time I pass up having at least 1 stick in my bag.

You're one of the good ones. Too many people would kill themselves or ask someone who stumbles by to kill them instead of crawling around looking for help or a way to fix their leg themselves. I think it's part of the challenge and one of the ways this game is so amazing and different from others, but other people want to B-line to the nearest weapon spawn so they can re-enact the Normandy invasion.

It seems I need to once again drop some knowledge. The people you all are referring to are not HACKERS. They are CHEATERS or SCRIPT KIDDIES. They are dickless pieces of shit who buy or use free cheats or use game exploits and bugs to their advantage. None of them are hacking shit. You people need to stop calling these cheaters and scripters 'hackers' because it's really dumb to think they're the same thing - and they aren't.

You bring up a great point, but as I said it mostly comes down to not being much else to do at the moment. When "uber military loot" is harder to come by and zombies infest military bases like the plague, there will be a lot more cooperation. Also, say I am shot at - but not hit. I kill that man and this process repeats several times. I'm not a bandit with a giant "KILL ME I'M A BANDIT" skin on that I can't do anything about. Would that be fair? I don't think so.

The first reply to this thread was you posting Peter Griffin calling me a troll. You're just adding to the problem because "oh well that's the internet." I'll try remaking this thread in a few months and see what happens. Maybe the people who can't accept this isn't another generic shooter will be gone by then and I won't even have to, but just in case I'm saving the title to try again later. This thread is totally fucked at this point.

I agree to some extent. Not all of them are like that, but is certainly a problem that should be addressed.
