Once again it's very simple. If you want everyone to only play in first person view, play hardcore servers. If you don't mind someone possibly waiting around the corner looking at you while you can't see him, play normal. /discussion

I tried making a thread where all of these retarded posts we see every day can have a place to stay without making a new thread. Not surprisingly, it was derailed at the first reply... I do agree though, mods could do some work on here and start enforcing people to stop making shit like this - unless it's in its own sub forum.

They're probably working as intended. Scopes and weapon attachments (and weapons in general) are going to eventually be extremely rare. So much so that improvised weapons may be all most people see.

Let it be known that this is now the official thread for those one paragraph topics that pop up every day. In an attempt to clean up the forums, this can be a central location to post topics regarding: - You killing someone and having X emotion and possibly being sorry - You being killed and being pissed and possibly demanding vengeance - You got ghosted and you're super pissed now - Someone combat logged and you're calling them a pussy - Or to just post about how the logout timer, 30 seconds of sitting down, or any other feature that's currently being tested is pissing you off. This is not a troll thread and I am being 100% serious. Please use this thread instead of creating your own every single time you kill someone, got killed by someone, claim a hacker killed you, etc. Edit: I am not a mod, obviously, so if a mod feels like this post would be made better if authored by one, feel free to lock this and create your own. As long as the end product is the same, I'll be happy. I'm just tired of seeing this forum loaded up with posts by people who think DayZ is another generic shooter or people who feel the need to post every thought that comes into their head when there are literally thousands of duplicate topics.

Agreed. After a while I get over it but it's just like, there are some moments where you knew you should have just played another game lol those bad feelings are usually shortly accompanied by your in-game demise.

You mentioned something I often go through myself when I die in a game like this. "I knew I should have just played _____ instead." Be it WoW, CSGO, whatever - I almost always have other things that I can play. I just get a feeling of "well, let me just do this and then I'll be done on DayZ for the day" (happened when I played WarZ too - never fails). I'll get going and then die and lose all my stuff and pound my head against the wall for not playing the game I was originally going to play.

You mean you have to scavenge more than 1 town to find all required items to survive in a survival game? You have to go inland instead of just scavenging along the coast?
