Yeah well I have 3 wives - all super models, 8 business all netting me over 9000 dollars a day each, and 12 children and I'm only 22.

I can't even play a Fallout 3 playthrough with bad karma because I just feel like an asshole. When I play DayZ it's the same thing. I do not shoot unless I feel I am threatened, and I do not KoS. I defend myself when needed and I'm not a carebear. I get my fix of killing in games like Battlefield and Blacklight and the likes so I see no reason to sate my murder boners in DayZ like some people do.

Agreed. Every day there's like 100+ stories of how someone killed on sight, didn't kill on sight, fed their dog, breathed, took a sip of water irl, etc. Very annoying.

I treat this game as I would hope that I'd treat the situation in real life because it's great for immersion and makes for an incredible experience. To me, you saying that you shot him for being no threat to you and just drinking water from a pump coupled with the fact that you say "lol it's just a game" when someone says do unto others, means that you are probably one of those people that just really doesn't care - game or not. I think it was a douche move and unnecessary to kill him. I wouldn't have done it and it's clear after reading your replies that you just don't take this game very seriously and see it as CoD with looting involved.

Too bad I find your opinion laughably one-sided bullshit. I call my guns "guns" or "handgun" or "rifle" depending on which one I am referring to. But to say it's a weapon is stupid. Literally any physical object that can be carried, thrown, or thrust can be a weapon. It's all about how something is used. If I am shooting at targets it is a firearm or a gun, but if I use it to harm someone or attempt to harm someone, it's at that point considered a weapon. Let me guess, you don't own firearms and possibly have never shot any either? (And no I'm not talking about in games, I'm talking real life here). But I digress. As I said I already agree the controls in the SA are currently ass and need to be re-worked. I'm stepping out of this thread before I see more uneducated bullshit nonsense about guns that is for some reason in this thread.
