I never said anything about you specifically that you should find offensive. You are whining and naysaying and I am pointing out that it annoys me a tad. I mentioned almost the exact same thing in another thread where someone said the game was doomed to never be finished and that it was off to a bad start.. Everyone hates seeing it as much as I hate saying it. It's. ALPHA. Shit will change. Shit will get better and worse before the game is "done." Everything people complain about now is just plain stupid because it's been out a month so far.

Agreed, it was good to see that the people overreacting about a man and his wife having lives outside of creating a game for a few weeks. I'm confidant in the creators of Star Citizen and DayZ. Now WarZ on the other hand.....

Don't get me wrong. That video you posted makes my blood boil. If you use yourself as bait to fuck over legit bandits (notice how they didn't kill him or feed him anything nasty, they took what they NEEDED, let him keep most of his stuff, and then let him go saying good luck) and then call your "super uber leet killsquad" over Teamspeak to fuck them over, that's just wrong. Unfortunately there will always be players like this. You just need to play smart. If someone stalls over in game VOIP, I take them out because I know what they're doing. And you can tell a stall between a legit player.

If only people actually did this. What do we get instead? At least 30 threads a day all relating to KoS, ghosting, server hopping, and badmins. Another ~40 posts a day with "awesome suggestions to "fix" problems with the game" that are all just terrible in their own regard and could have been posted in one of the other 10000 posts on the same subject. These forums man. I don't know.

This. And ya know what? The same people that are bitching about this are the same people who are bitching that not enough people communicate or cooperate with each other. Fucking cracks me up how ass backwards some of the people on this forum are. Nobody thinks before making their stupid suggestions just because they don't like that other people play with friends and it's occasionally unfriendly to them.

I fail to see how using Skype to meet up with the people I play with is a problem. If I had to scour the map to find someone I'm trying to play with I would not play. Spending hours searching only to be killed is not fun and I would not do it. If I want to use Skype to play with my friends and say "Ok hey I found a sign I spawned in X, where can we all go to meet up?" I am going to do so. It makes no sense for me not to be able to. Yes it sucks when that douchebag kid who has no skills uses it to do what he did in that video, but ya know what? Not everyone does that. And trying to force others away from something useful to play together just because others abuse it is fucked.

Where? Everywhere I saw him talk about console crap was saying that it wasn't even going to be considered until the PC game was up to where they wanted it to be at least a year from now.

You and I agree there. It's pretty lame to use in that way, but if that's what kids need to use to gain an advantage, that's not so much cheating as it's them being a little bitch who doesn't wanna die in an alpha.

While I don't agree with the person doing that, and I feel that using external comms in that way is just retarded and a huge bitch move, sure in a real life scenario his friends would have gathered something was wrong and would want to check it out? The bandits always run the gambit when they hold someone up. They have to take the risk that someone else can be watching and waiting for them. They need to be careful.

That is the biggest takeaway of the post. Something I've been trying to say, myself.

This. As I mentioned, me using Skype with my friends has no hindrance on my ability to communicate in game with people I meet in game.
