Lots of people play as a survival game as it's intended to be played. The fact that it's a deathmatch free for all is a matter of opinion, not fact. I've encountered tons of other players. Some interactions end well for both of us, others don't. It's the nature of the game. But I've encountered very few who actually think like you do.

This. I will say I am not against having beards.

This. It's good to both see if someone has a rifle, and have others see you having one.

A friend and I tried to find a server to play in today and after the first one kicked had an admin that kicked us instantly so he could play with his clan, we tried to split up and find a server that didn't lag. Wait timer. Cool so because we got kicked by an admin we now have a wait timer. After the initial timer, his server seems stable so I switch over to that one so we can finally start playing for the day. 5 minute wait - awesome. I am all for fucking over server hoppers and combat loggers, and I know this system is temporarily the solution until something better is implemented, but holy shit it can be annoying for legit players to have a wait time of what seems like an eternity because of server or administrative issues with a server. But hell if you're looting a building, or a town, and switching servers constantly, I vote for exponential timers to have to wait for logging in. Wanna server hop? Okay cool, wait 2.5 minutes. Then wait 5 minutes. Then wait 25 minutes*.. You get the idea. It's harsh, but server hopping and combat logging can suck a fat one. *disclaimer: Don't sit there and try to rationalize the fact that "People NEED to server hop! THERE'S NO LEWT!" Bullshit. I've survived so long without server hopping, you find an empty town, you keep on looking. P.S. It's alpha, hurr durr. We're not meant to have fun we're meant to test and pave the way for future fun.

I fail to see how adding armbands and pre-determined looks to people adds any interaction. This thread is still fucking stupid. How does knowing who to kill and who not to kill add anything to the game? Oh look a guy with a RED ARMBAND OMFG BETTER KILL HIM. Boom now I've killed him with no interaction. Too bad there are morons that argue: "HURR DURR THERE IS NO 'WAY THE GAME IS SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYED' IT'S A SANDBOX HURR DURR." I agree that it completely ruins the point of the game but there are stupid idiots on the forums who claim that server hopping is a valid play style and that we shouldn't tell them any "right way to play" since to us, their way is wrong and to us their way is wrong.

This. I fail to see what people don't understand. The game creator himself said that the game is broken as all hell and that he does NOT recommend you play it until months from now after it's been worked on a lot more.

First of all... LOL Hmmm so something is wrong with the optimization. In other words, the engine is in development.. As is the game.. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. This is a mystery.
