I'm out of beans for the day, but holy shit this post is /thread. Great post, too bad stubborn whiners and people who argue just to argue will ignore it.

Because there's still not much to do in the game. Once there's more to satisfy the urges of the trigger happy KOS'ers, there's no reason for a buggy, exploitable humanity system. Plus it completely takes all the guessing and stress of wondering whether someone is friendly. Having a defined system where bandits look like X and "heroes" (wtf?) look like Y is not only pointless, exploitable, and stupid, it completely removes all interaction and guessing from the game.

I think you misread. I simply mean that instead of all these threads that pop up with the same topics, the people making them every day can post it in here instead of hitting "new topic." You have a typo in your sig, by the way.

Near Russia. Or part of it or something. If you play the "campaign" in Arma 2 or 3, they go over it and show like world map zooms of it.

Trust me I am neither new to forums or new to the internet. I know it's the same no matter where you go but hey, it's a forum and people can make threads about whatever they want so I chose to make a thread where people can go to post their 1-liner "I killed a dude so now I feel like working out" threads.

I figure it's worth a shot. Hey even if a mod shuts this down, does it themselves, and stickies it and starts to merge future topics that fit the criteria, I'd be fine with that. I just hate logging into these forums every day and seeing 90% of the posts being about someone killing someone else, being killed by a hacker, hating to be killed on sight, etc. If there was just a place where everyone could write their 1-paragraph posts and NOT make new threads each time, it'd be grand.

I just said it's not a troll thread. I'm being serious. Every day there's like 1000 posts of "omg I killed a dude, this is how I feel" and "omg a HAXOR killed me" or "omg KOS NOOOBS EVERYWHERE." If they were all in 1 place, we could see threads that weren't of the same topic being repeatedly thrown on the forum.

This. And the line in the OP where you said made me laugh because it's not true at all. The kids who play the game like it's Call of Dooty will say this. But people who play as a survival game will not. If your one sole purpose in the game is to b-line to the nearest gun spawn and then to the next, you may be looking for a different game than DayZ.

I would like to see not only players being banned, but players being killed (and possibly by whom). All the other messages that don't apply to me, I don't want to see.
