Hi, returning player here after a few months off, playing on high pop servers and I can't seem to find any other players. My question is where the hell do people hang out these days, I see few players hanging in elektro and only seem to find bambis on the coast, please help. Any tips on where people hang out and where I may find some action. Cheers

At the moment all there is to do in this game is... 1 - Find loot 2 - 2 Kill Zombies 3 - Kill people If the loot is too easy to find then too much time is spent on killing zombies and players, this game is meant to be a survival game not a getgungokill game, it is meant to take time, I am more happy with people running around with civ weapons rather than having every twelvie running around with full mil gear TBH... Loot is fine.

After a few weeks of the Initial release I quit, I had seen all I needed to see reported what bugs I saw and (at the time) the pace of development was too slow for my linking, then a few weeks ago my mates convinced me to download the game again and I am glad they did, I have had great times and (for the most part) not had too many bug related problems, well other than the damn ladder glitch and horrible server response times BUT I assume that will be fixed when they start focusing on optimization. TL:DR IMO most people who "Hate" the game just expected more from even an alpha and will most likely change their tune when a more stable game is released as I did.

No, I did, Don't get me wrong a new patch is always weclome, But after a long dayZ work all I wanted to do was play the game :P

Some rusty swords and some new clothing, To be honest I would rather be playing at this moment, the new patch really does not seem like it needed to be "rushed" to stable with an extra maint session. XD

WOW, we have an extra 5 hours maint the other day and now this, all during prime time aussie gaming on a friday night... damn it.

Anyone else having very few servers show up? A mate and I just got dced from an Aussie server and now have no aussie and very few other servers showing.

Then why is there one public server still available? can anyone shed any light on this?

I think OP's point is being missed by most of you, I find that strange since it is the go to comeback when someone criticizes this game, the game is still in early alpha yet the features that we are here to test, Not play are being hidden thus making it hard for the devs to get an accurate idea of how things are working. They can always alter the loot tables later during the dev process but lets look at the recent addition of the V3s as an example, when it first came to exp branch there were something like 20 spawns per server, then after very little time that update was pushed to stable and the spawn number reduced to 3, I myself have been lucky enough to find a truck on more than one occasion and I can tell you they are far from finished, they are still buggy and feel really bad to drive so instead of sorting out the spawn rate, the best idea may be to get the numbers up a bit so that they can be tested and have bugs fixed before thinking long term. Now to counter that statement, the problem you have with increasing the spawn rates is that people start to get used to being able to find what they want, when they want so toning the numbers back down becomes problematic. All in all I don't really see the way around this but I do agree that for the better/faster development of the game we need to have a little higher spawn chance than we would if the game was compl
