Anyone use Shadowplay to record their dayz action?

I use it, catch all the action =) It's not officially supported and sometimes it doesn't want to work. -
I was shot with an M4A1 at close range a few times, I am now unconscious and have been so for about 15 minutes. My 2 team mates are guarding my body and have patched me up, but they're slowly running out of food and water sitting around by my body. How long can I expect to be out for?

They don't have an epi-pen. If they force feed me all of our supplies will it raise my blood high enough?

I bought the game yesterday, and teamed up with my friend (also a new player). We looted Cherno, well, what little loot was there and eventually headed north with the help of my friend on Skype who has a wall map of Chernarus :). It was all pretty interesting until after about half an hour of walking through the countryside I became sick and my friend fell unconscious due to dehydration. After 3 hours of being alive, we found no guns and barely any food or water. I was eventually clubbed to death by a zombie trying to figure out how to blood bag myself. Am I doing something wrong or is loot incredibly rare? Motorcycle helmets are more common than edible items. Guns are nowhere to be seen and I have to hike for half an hour to get anywhere. I feel that I'm not having as much fun as I should. What am I doing wrong?
