I don't know what the scene is for bow hunting in that region, but what's a zombie apocalypse without an archer?
-
I really do hope they buff the bows, fix spawns and etc, but i feel they have other things to deal with atm. The craftable leather quiver sounds good and i think i heard somewhere that crafting arrows will soon be a thing. They just need to fix stealth, add the quiver and craftable arrows and the rest you may see fixed in beta testing

My pet peeve is admins abusing their powers. That's all i have to say about that.

This is definitely something i would love to see in game, imagine hearing about someone losing their graffiti AK to some bandit, and then finding it in game. Weapons could carry stories too; this one's been through "WWNorthwest", and "The Great Zombie Horde of Berenzino"; this one's been used by a 12 yr old that's not quite grown pubes and has a voice that breaks like dry pasta.

Oooh i like the idea of this taking a vest slot I started think about this again and i feel, as soon as they implement persistent storage a camelbak could be useful when you are on a long trip and don't intend to bring a backpack. The one i have at home, with a full bladder still has a pocket big enough for your keys, wallet, a handgun perhaps, and i find that i can still wear a backpack over the top. There are also plenty of versions of the camelbak that are integrated into military molle system backpacks

haha yea i did this and lost my bipod but i wasn't too chuffed, i mean, bipods are pretty easy to come by -
i don't think a sneaking walk would be so op, when there are more zombies (hordes in cities for example) and the goal is to get around them i think it could transform gameplay.
-
well what's happened is we've created our own thing and given them rules, now we dispute over the rules. I was trying to find a quote but i can't so just trust me with this one of the forum mods said that in DayZ: zombies are humans that are sick with a virus, anything that kills a human will kill a zombievirus is not spread via bite but rather an airborne virussurvivors cannot get infected, either by bite or airborne virustherefore survivors are humans that are immune

I'll get a screen shot if you like :D

My first was an hour into the game, i was looting a school. I had a clown mask and a fireaxe and i felt like i didnt look the friendly type. This new spawn found me looting some beans and it's obvious he's not played before, but neither have i so i was after the taste of blood. He waved, i split his skull but he got up, so i kept hitting and hitting, it must have been hours of just pumping my axe into his body, crippled and spouting blood. He was dysncing bad and made multiple moves to stand up and run, but he kept getting teleported back under my axe just before another strike. I paused for a second to watch him crawl for the exit, blooding pouring from his head and torso before he fell unconscious from blood loss and soon after died. But tbh i think karma got me, because i was killed my a man sporting a clown mask and a fireaxe later the same night.

What you did was not wrong, but you could have found cover and tried to make contact. If they dont reply, they're bandits, if they do ask for their names, and if they give it to you most likely they're friendly. I've made some very valuable friends in DayZ just from being nice but you can always run away if you feel any more unsafe. The clan i'm in all look like bandits, we wield AR's and sniper rifles, dress all in green, but we're friendly; we'll talk first and shoot later.

Mosin Nagant Compensator + Bayonet glitch
alldaypk replied to TheWizard14's topic in General Discussion
I don't agree with the bayonet worsening accuracy. Added weight has benefits, it means adjustments are slower, smaller, therefore less jerky resulting in better accuracy. Overall length of the gun doesn't have an effect on accuracy, barrel length and condition does. Maybe if the bayonet was really heavy it would mess with the harmonics of the barrel (bending it down slightly, altering the way the gun recoiled and the barrel vibrated). -
Will the late May update fix the broken distance rendering?
alldaypk replied to Rick1633's topic in General Discussion
Look, I'm sure they know about the bugs, what with all the bitching about it. I understand that you and many other people want these fixed immediately, but they've got to take it in steps, don't worry; they've fixed all the previous game-breaking problems before (apart from zombies, but it's not the same as fixing a texture, or making sure something spawns) so they're definitely listening. How I see it is they are fixing bugs, and at the same time creating content, this content creates new bugs, which they fix next patch when they also introduce new content. Bugs keep appearing until they finish adding content. Experimental is for testing content and experimenting with the mechanics, core aspects etc, and finding those game-breaking problems. Once they figure it's safe, they'll move it to stable, sometimes something gets through, sometimes they release it too early, I don't know but you can put it down to public pressure. What you're looking for is something of a reply from them reassuring you that they know about it and they are doing something to combat it. As for my quote, I have no idea what you've done to it, I was pointing out errors as if your reply was an alpha and I was to find problems in it. -

alldaypk replied to Rick1633's topic in General Discussion
As alpha testers isn't that our job? To point out bugs and participate in the development of the game is what we agreed to when we bought it. Just look what I've done to your quote. -
Isn't that what people do at ranges?

Sometimes it's better to have amazing gameplay and experiences than realism. Sure, this is a simulator set in a rural part of a country, but why do we have to create within these limits? I want this game to be successful and not for the minority of the gaming community. I have tried to convince my friends to buy the game so I wouldn't be lonely walking the wastes but the empty hills and forests just doesn't grab them. Put the 50 thousand population city in, because zombie infested farmland makes for a shitty game.

found a browning! ITS HAZ MY FAVOURITE TROJAN SYMBOL!
alldaypk replied to brumey's topic in General Discussion
I've searched countless Mil bases, airfields, police stations, and only ever found a single mag for the 1911, though I've 'acquired' plenty off players.
