I thought the motorcycle helmets protected against knock out and the ballistic helmet helped with bullets.(Supposedly)

Instead of turning bandit or whatever, be a better, smarter hero. Exacting some sense of revenge on strangers isnt the only option.

I drank a can of something described as a fermented beverage for the first time in game last night...forget its exact name, but it was in a can like the soda is. I thought thats what this thread would be about.

The game in its current state only offers so much to do anyway for the time being....Kill people, help people, explore a little in between. Itll continue to expand and morph as new things are added and bugs are found and dealt with.

Perhaps youve just had bad luck and are hopping on looted servers, but there's been a few people that seem unhappy with the most recent update. I think it's all just part of the development process and if it is an actual issue, itll be resolved sometime soon via another update.

Interesting approach at taking a census of sorts. I look forward to the next chapter.

My character was wiped after the update yesterday, so I began the long journey back towards Elektro and beyond. I ran into a few random people asking me to box and such, but kept on going trying to find a weapon or someone more interesting. (Im sick of boxing men in their underwear, I guess you could say) I ended up seeing two new spawns running along the train tracks together at full speed, so I began following them. After something like ten minutes or so, I see them around some trees and realize they're with a group of like 6 people now, all bambis. I had literally nothing, not even a t-shirt, so I ran up to them. They immediately surround me and start saying things about me killing people for their flashlights or trying to kill them moments ago. We do some talking and they realize I'm not the guy, just another black guy wandering along the coast looking for food and weapons. We team up and begin running along the coast like a herd of helpless deer since not one of us had a weapon and we were running in a dispersed group right in the middle of the street talking loudly on top of it. A real snipers delight if we had come across one...luckily we did not and our noobish behavior went unpunished. We run straight into Elektro, loud and as obvious as can be, but no gunshots ring out...no bandits approach. Suddenly over in game chat, there's music. Not just any music, but something I recognize from my childhood of Street Fighter II. Its Guile's music! From around the corner comes a guy in a green shirt and bam, he starts punching everyone he can. He gets a couple of us slightly, but no one falls unconscious, so we just start running. He gives chase, but is eventually distracted and runs off. We decide that's our cue to leave. We end up in Cherno, but since we found no food even in Elektro, we begin falling unconscious one by one. I ended up adding a couple of them since we were unconscious right by one another, but the others had run off before I got their names. Success wasn't required, good times were had.

I know double clicking on stuff in the vicinity of you on your inventory menu will bring it into your inventory, but Im not sure about transferring entire packs at once. So if you put your pack on the ground and put on the new one, you have to double click each item to bring it into the new one. Faster than dragging stuff one thing at a time.

I got rolled back to a previous character from a week or so ago when I first started playing today, but now it just seems to be wiped completely on all servers. Oh well, off to run in the middle of the road in my underwear it is. I talk to more people when I have nothing to lose anyway.

I currently have a mosin, fnx, and magnum. I prob woulnt have picked up the magnum initially, but it took me a couple days to find just one mag for the fnx while I found like 30 rounds for magnum. I probably havent given the m4 a fair chance since Ive used one only sparingly, but I like accuracy and tend to bring out my handguns when indoors anyway.

I think Id like single man ultralights with short ranges over full on helicopters with mounted guns and such...right now though, in the standalone, Im interested in any vehicle just about. Im starting to feel like Forrest Gump, just running from coast to coast.

I got bored of wandering around up North and am now back down towards Elektro or some nearby small down/(Forget where I logged out exactly) Im fully geared and really just came down to run into people despite that meaning Id prob end up getting shot. Earlier on when I first got the game, I had no trouble finding them, but the last few days have been the exact same thing. I find enough m4 mags that I could give them away, but have only managed to find one fnx mag in 4 days or so of playing.

Will zombies have different values for the damage they take based on what theyre wearing, as in a helmet or whatever?

Ive seen parts of people, usually just a mosin, but sometimes parts of their body sticking through stairs before while looking for loot. Maybe somehow enough of you showed through to give him a shot?

I best run to the nearest sink!
