I think it would sadden me to have my horse killed by zombies or another player if they were somehow put in the game...unless the horse came back as a zombie horse like the white walkers in Game of Thrones.

Do you ever ask someone's name when you play with them? I try to ask for their steam ID once weve established we're not trying to kill one another at least at the moment, but Ive found some people seem to prefer the anonymity.

I meet quite a lot of people who dont KOS, but many of them give me the impression if they had a gun or the chance to sneak up on me with an axe, theyd do it.

I have a lot of luck on night servers although thats not something everyone enjoys, especially while totally new to the game. It's the closest I come to really server hopping because I dont crank up my brightness and gamma,(Someone give me a medal) so I try to find a server with the Moon out at least. Some of my scariest moments were while playing at night which makes me want to do it more...something about hearing that guttural sound some zombies make as they sneak up just scares the shit out of me.

Nice number in your name.... So whats your steam ID? Im not in Cherno currently, but I can guarantee youre not alone there. Im in Elektro which isnt too far away. Check out the Chernarus + map to see where the cities are in relation to one another and such.

Something quite a lot of people recommend is simply eating the food as soon as you find it in order to keep yourself healthy and save space for carrying other things.(Unless youre already full/stuffed) I personally always have some food in my pack if I can because Im paranoid that I wont have it when I need it, but thats just me and is much less a problem once youre a little more established in the game.

Youll start to pick up on things as you continue to play, as well as just learning your way around so you can travel as efficiently and safely as possible. If an area of town has a lot of open doors, for example, I tend to just move on because people have likely been there...although you should always be on the lookout for water pumps and ponds until you get some gear. (Water like that currently doesnt cause sickness, so for the time being you can drink anywhere) Also, if im not looking to run into people, I treat the coast like its covered in flaming dog shit that causes cancer and head inland. That wont guarantee safety, but Ive run into less assholes while adventuring away from the coast. Try to meet up with some other players through here or even just in the game if youre brave. Ive met some cool strangers just running around the coast, but Ive also been shot by said strangers even more times, so you have to choose yourself there. Whats your steam name? I think the game 7Days to Die is like minecraft crossed with DayZ, if youre interested. I guess Rust is kind of like that too although I havent really seen that one.
