Yea, a lot of people have been having trouble just connecting/staying connected. Give it time... Last night I played for an hour and suddenly got the session lost message...Weird thing was that my steam then downloaded a quick update for DayZ and suddenly I no longer got the random, nonstop zombie noises.

lol, bastard as in the only "accent" I can do sounds like some poorly done combination of an English and Australian person.

Ah, that explains it then. I did come across a pitchfork just sitting on the ground in the road outside the town, but perhaps someone ditched it there once they realized it was practically only for show at this point.

Took me 5-6 tries before I could connect last night...On regular and hardcore both, Im probably about 1km outside Electro. Checked out a new town(I think) in the NW last night, but despite being untouched, there was little for the taking.

I played for a couple hours last night once the update d/l'd, and I didnt notice that much of a difference in zombie behavior except there was more of them coming at me when I shot my gun. The biggest difference I noticed was that there was zombie noises playing constantly, whether they were near me or not. It kept getting stuck in a loop where 5 zombie noises would play in a row, wait 5 seconds, then all play again

I feel like it will lead to teaming up, but that might just mean we have more groups of assholes running together vs one just hiding on a hill behind a rock.

It fits nicely in between your vertebrae, keeping it from moving while sprinting.

Can i use sticks to make a peg leg and walk around doing a Captain Barbosa impression, complaining about Jack Sparrow and curses and such? Im horrible at impressions, so Ill probably just make it the English/Australian bastard of an impersonation I always do.

Not sure why, but new towns excite me more than new gear. I guess I just like the new places to explore.

I find so much ammo some days that it feels like a joke...now a magazine for my fnx, thats another story. Ive had the same pristine fnx and plenty of ammo for days, but no matter how many times I check out a fire station or military location, I just cant find a single one.

Finally, I can leave all this senseless killing behind and go back to farming my precious tomacco.

Ive been encountering way more zombies while up on hills and such. Places I used to not see any are now not safe...and it is awesome.

Barracks seem to have both hunting and mountain backpacks fairly regularly if you dont mind the risk.

Excellent eye. I have heard of this before, on the Discovery channel or something, and always like seeing Easter eggs like this. Thanks for sharing.

I havent played anything on steam in a few days, so I hop on tonight and for some reason Im having trouble with my mouse. When any of my steam games are in full screen mode, including DayZ and ARMA 2 and 3, I cant select anything with my mouse. It works fine in window mode, but for some reason it only highlights what I point it at, but wont select it in fullscreen. Its always worked before, its funtioning pefectly otherwise, and the batteries are new. I havent changed anything with my computer except the icon sizes on the desktop, but after switching those back, its still not working. I double checked my resolution and its where its supposed to be. Restaring didnt help either. As far as general stuff with the computer, the mouse is working perfectly. Intel 4670k msi z87 GD65 gaming mobo gtx660 8 gigs 1600mhz ram 21" monitor at 1600 x 1200

As far as I can tell, everything is set to the screens native resolution, 1600 x 1200, the same as it's always been.

I just started ARMA 3 and Breaking Point, and dont really know what Im doing yet, so I liked being able to join their buddy system at the beginning of play and teaming up with someone automatically, but it is deinfitely far from realistic.

There will always be hackers just like there will always be people who dont notice that there are already countless threads like this posted on here.

I believe you can back up your game through steam onto a flash drive and move to the other computer. I did it from my laptop to desktop.

As frustrated as Ive been by people who KOS and such, Id have to say Im against any sort of labeling or sorting of people by play style. I want to have to worry about everyone and everything while playing.
