    Every server stuck on night?

    Played in the daytime (on a Hardcore server) for a few hours earlier today.
  2. Yeah I just noticed experimental was now at version 0.43.0.116212. Can't see any servers though.
  3. :o Me too, apparently there was an unmentioned update to experimental. Edit: Dang, no experimental servers are up.
  4. Still more worth playing than stable. ;)
  5. Experimental has been up some time. Just checked a minute and saw all 20 or so servers with quite a few players on.

    /\ That makes me wanna go play some Red Orchestra. I vote for 3D scopes, just hope the issue can be fixed.

    Good suggestions. I also hope they take the rain catching another step and make it so you can put it down and let it fill up until you pick it up, rather than filling it by 1% at a time. That is, unless I'm missing something.

    Yeah I ran into that station & school house area a few weeks ago, thought I ran into a new place as well. Turns out it's been there for some time. :blush: Nice to see the other stuff though! :D

    How far away can you hear the eating/ammo sound?

    I'm still pretty damn confident that I can hear Zed noises even when no bunnies are around. Most the time when I hear them, I can't find a rabbit anywhere around me. I think the Zed noises are like the eating/soda noises.

    He's referring to the bug where you seem to hear the noises from anywhere on the map.

So far I've found the new beans texture, new spaghetti texture, painting fireaxe works, crawling under the cement fence gap is fixed, some water fountains don't have the action menu pop up (but still work if you hit the action key) and zombies seem retarded. Running quite smooth!! Way better than the last exp. in my experience. No rubberbanding whatsoever (even though I live in the US and have shit ping on all experimental servers).

    Been playing experimental for ~2 hours now. They're up. So far I've found a new beans texture, new spaghetti texture, painting fireaxe works, crawling under the cement fence gap is fixed, some water fountains don't have the action menu pop up (but still work if you hit the action key) and zombies seem retarded. Running quite smooth!! Way better than yesterday in my experience. No rubberbanding whatsoever, even with my shit ping on the available servers.

  18. I think everyone is currently having this issue and it's for all servers, not just experimental. Might be a steam issue.

    After the steam crash I was able to get servers to pop up one time, but upon refresh they never returned. Neither stable or experimental servers are currently showing for me.

    Nighttime: Well that was odd

    I've noticed that changing HDR from "Very Low" to "Low" quite dramatically increases nighttime vision and enhances the effectiveness of gamma/brightness glitching.

  22. That town was confirmed as not completed as of the last exp update. Not to mention all those industrial metal things poking out of the ground in that town. And the ground poking through some buildings.

I'm guessing that for one, the new town to the north/west of Svet has some more work done.

    Where are the updates? **crickets chirping**

    I just don't get what saying, "Hey DEVs, hurry up, these updates are slow," does to help development. I love hearing suggestions, various ideas, and peoples take on where they think the game should go, but suggesting development should go "faster" isn't really a suggestion. Sure, it has been a bit slow the last few weeks, but I trust that they aren't lying when they say that they are trying hard to fix these few major bugs before deploying to stable. It is evident that they *wanted* to release to stable some time ago, but that wasn't able to happen. This wasn't because they wanted to punish you, but because they didn't want a repeat of the last time a major bug made it to stable. I think in the not-so-far future the development will jump over these hurdles and then we will see some good updates! Another part not to forget is this line from devblog posted a week ago: "We are inducting a large number of new people to the team, effectively doubling the whole project." While there have been new team members added, we must not forget that they must be trained and assigned their jobs before we see the effects of these new members.
