  1. No. Edit: Well fuck me, DayZ Experimental Branch is updating right now. 171MB v 0.43.116315 Still don't think it's anything major.
  2. solodude23

We NEED some way to identify heros and bandits.

I vote that the word, "NEED" in the title of this thread gets replaced with, "WANT". Also, "We" should be changed to "I". To reflect the reality of things.

KOSING people in balota and electro

Right? Nothing wrong with the KOS, but all that damn 3PP corner peeking just ruins it. Can't believe so many people like playing like that.

    Experimental servers...

That's what I meant. I hopped on one of the 4 FL servers that popped up early this morning/late last night and found that the fix was not applied to them. Before that the FL servers were indeed down with only the 64 player "test" server visible. Anyway, I'm sure it'll be thrown in with the next update or two.

    Experimental servers...

Experimental servers are up now. But it seems the loot fix is no longer there :(

    Experimental servers...

Yep. :| Was hoping to try the newly fixed loot spawns!

    Rolling Update Rev - 0.43.116251

Damn, was too bad the exp servers are down now, I was excited to try the new loot spawns. :emptycan: AKA, I disagree. I'd rather have somewhat challenging zombies. Also, don't be so quick to think you're in the majority. It is a zombie game, you know.
  8. solodude23

Are they serious with these new pistol spawns?

You were SO CLOSE to making a decent post! :(
  9. solodude23

    Oh you sneaky devs's

Relax. Not that many players even dwell on these forums.
  10. solodude23

Could please tell me someone where am I?

As a heads up, there's also another new town over here: http://dayzdb.com/map#6.016.033
  11. /\ This. Works just fine as the placeholder it's intended to be. Zombies will be back to useless with any sort of longer respawn. We know a more robust respawning system is down the road.
  12. That's why you throw fakes in there. Throws off the shooter. Don't follow a rythm. Left - right - right- left- fake right- etc. Sadly it's worked quite well for me..lol.
  13. Option b. I begin leaning and walk-strafe to the corner to carefully peak. Wut? Sounds like you're explaining 3PP.
  14. solodude23

    Problem with W button (Walk/Jog/Sprint)

I have sprint set to left shift and my F key toggles walking, cause double tapping shift is a nightmare. lol.
  15. I think it's going to be fixed. Hopefully sooner than later. As for now, the axes, the farming hoe, and the pitchfork seem to be the best.

Why you should be playing on Experimental.

Figures! As soon as I have to leave to the real world servers come up! lol. Look forward to playing later.
  17. Experimental. Probs just a hotfix.
  18. Ugh! Punishment by reading! :P Exactly! They know clothes work and thus they know they can add clothes without introducing new bugs to the game. As long as the artists, mappers, modelers, etc are making content, why not add it? It doesn't deduct from the game in any way. If adding this content to the game *really* slowed down other aspects of development then I would get this point - but as it stands I don't. The more clothes, villages, and other content, the better! :) Well, there has def been some improvement in terms of movement such as stance transition, ADS transitions, rolling, etc. I'm not sure if you play on hardcore or stable but some of these changes have been quite evident in 1PP. Made me chuckle about the army of artists. This is true and even with the amount of time that has passed, I have hope that due to the team size being doubled we should see some faster improvements soon in terms of core mechanics. I understand more where you're coming from. I knew nothing of DayZ SA or DayZ mod until December when I ran into videos on youtube and decided to buy the standalone. For that reason, I guess my patience has had a much more recent start as I haven't realized how long it's truly been in development. However, I still believe that the game has much hope, in fact more than ever now, and that the game is not fundamentally flawed (despite what rocket said). It's true that they likely wanted to sell the alpha (with the promise of a finished game) in order to gather money for development, and that's just fine by me. As a result, they want to somewhat appeal to the players and release content such as clothes so we have *something* to play with in between larger updates. I don't see this as a financially minded decision, but rather a "working with the community" decision. By the way I greatly appreciate your ability to share your point of view without calling me a fanboy or throwing insults around! Too bad the rest of the forumers aren't this way!
  19. The first line is irrelevant. What does clothes have to do with zombies? I highly doubt the guys making clothes have anything to do with zombie path-finding (or anything zombie aside from maybe looks). Making things paintable is an evidently easy change, why not do it? As for your last line, I dunno man. No one can answer that except DEVs - but we do know that most games are in development in the background for years before they even release a screenshot, not to mention a trailer or playable alpha. I don't see this as being much different aside from the fact that we are able to see and participate in the developmental process. Just my two cents.

Why you should be playing on Experimental.

Speaking of which, an update released on experimental a good hour or more ago. Just waiting on servers.
  21. solodude23

Careful to all players when logging out

Why does that make him a bandit? It's always been smarter to log out in the woods, far from any sign of life. It's even more important now with semi-dangerous zombies. Adding a feature for a fixable bug is going a bit too far and it's unnecessary. Not only that, but I could see how this could potentially become abused by the people who decide to log out in military bases and airfields. Spawn protection was terrible in BF3.
  22. That's why he wrote that. We currently are in the early stages of development and an entire team was just dedicated to zombie path finding and such. I think we'll be seeing some good changes soon. In the meantime, I REALLY don't mind zombies being a tad more challenging even if they are buggy.

    Rolling Update Rev - 0.43.116251

Not just you, don't think any are up yet. There hasn't been any mention of the update or servers yet from hicks. Hopefully we'll get some info soon.
  24. solodude23

    Grr.. FFS, bleeding each login...

Yeah you REALLY have to be careful where you log off now with the zombie aggro/respawning. Desync doesn't help.

    Rolling Update Rev - 0.43.116251

Well we'll just have to wait and see. Better to make sure the hotfix fixes things (and doesn't introduce new bugs) before pushing to stable. If it doesn't make it to stable today, just play experimental.
