G17, I used to rock the M1911 most of the time but since they don't OHK zombies anymore you have to go for headshots, and with the terrible iron sights of the M1911 that's pretty hard to pull of. So yeah, G17, plenty of ammo, great iron sights and free flash light.

I better hope that there is some form of indication that a tent is of the exploding variaty, would just be silly if you can't even dare loot because one tent explodes for no discernable reason.

The edge of map where people hide stuff is fairly large, and not everyone has the time to search every square kilometer of it for the 10+ cars people stashed up there. Combined with bandits often guarding their camps and admins restarting their servers and locking it as soon as someone touches their stuff and most people won't ever be able to get a vehicle. First of all the spawns of vehicles should be more random so that a clan can't just lock their server for an hour and already have every vehicle found and driven off map. Second cars should re spawn quicker, not after a week of non-use but a couple of days, people should actively use their vehicles, not use them as storage or trophy's. There are two sides of people to this problem, the idiot entiteld kids who think they should be able to find and keep every vehicle on the map and the idiot entitled kids who want to expend no effor finding the vehicles. The only positive thing to the current situation is that if you know where to look you can easily find a hoarder stash of perfect conditioned vehicles.

TS3, Vent, Mumble and Skype. Pick your poison. Vent used to be my favorite but it lost quality over the last few years so now we use TS3. Mumble just doesn't respond right to me and Skype is not really usefull for dedicated conversations.

If you can't afford a copy of Arma2 for €25,- then I think you should have other priorities then video games.

My problem with low ping is that I want to play with my clan/comunity, most of which live on the West Coast of the US and Canada, while I live in the EU. Finding a server none of us gets kicked of is a pretty tough job.

What? The other pistols where plenty used... except for the M9The Glock was a great pistol, good sights and flash light build in, M9SD was a nice quiet sidarm to have and I saw plenty of people enjoying the full auto of the PDW. Personally I think they where balanced just fine, except the M9 which had nothing going for it.

AS50 and M107 might be the strongest and have the longest range, but they are not common enough to be relied upon, unless you of course dupe the shit out of them and their ammo. Personally I believe the DMR is the best, it's common, can one hit kill people up to 600 meters and has a 20 round semi-auto clip with low recoil for quick follow up shots.

Snowy mountains, a very dense forest or jungle and a large city. A highway crossing the map would also feel nice, tough for it to fit you would need a much bigger map.

Damn, I should hunt up north more often, but I just don't have the patience for it. I got no pics but the biggest camp I ever found was at the middle western part of the map on top of a hill, 2 vehicles and a shit load of tends, not all filled tough. Damn, I wish I could have one of those M16A4 ACOG guns, or the M4A1 SD...

The problem is that if the island is the size of Chernarus you're gonna have a whole lot of coast and only a little of inland.Still, I hear the maps in Arma3 are gonna be way bigger, so maybe? Personally I would like the map to be based on new zealand, plenty of varied terrain to keep it... fresh.

I agree with making the map an island, the only problem is the island has to be big enough to have a 'proper' inland.If it's to small and everyone could just jog from coast to coast it would quickly turn boring.
