  1. I haven't heard anything about it being in. Maybe it's just very rare though?
  2. With the fresh fruit....it's possible survivors are just more common, maybe people come through the towns and cities from other places with the fruit on them and get into some trouble and have to make a quick escape, dropping the fruit? Possibility.
  3. I was on 30 minutes ago and found an M4 and a Mosin practically touching eachother at green mountain. Was plenty more loot around too. I never seem to have trouble with finding loot, some building's don't have anything at all but you cant expect to find something in every house, the whole point is to go look for it. But yeah I don't know if its broke or not because I haven't had problems. On a side note the new beret's are pretty cool.
  4. I would very much like vehicles, it would make the world more interesting. However, people shouldn't just be able to repair them straight off. Maybe add manuals around for all the types of vehicles and you have to actually have picked that up and made your character read it before you can fix a car with a broken engine or a helicopter's tail rotor(separate manual for learning to fly too). And not like the books where you just read it so then it gets posted on a wiki or something, you'd have to actually use it in-game and then you should be able to destroy it once you've used it so you have something to bargin with if you get taken hostage by bandits.

    Sudden realization!!!!!

I too enjoy living in the woods.
  6. I wear a gas mask because I don't want to catch creepy zombie aids :( I'm not a bandit, never killed anyone! not even in the mod.
  7. gingatsu, although I think your knowledge is cool and all, I do think you're getting a bit technical :P. I think in real life the place Chernarus is based off is landlocked, not by the coast. And from the state of the buildings and vehicles on the standalone, it appears its set some years in the future so anything could have happened since the infection spread. But you do make a good point that most weapons should be Russian based. I personally would like to see less weapons in the game.
  8. I do my best to avoid other players, I don't trust anyone but I have never killed another player and I've only shot at players when they've shot at me first. If there's a chance I can avoid conflict then I will.
  9. I last logged out in a room like that...I'm a little concerned logging back in now incase I get shot for being a server hopper >.>
  10. I play for the survival aspect, I prefer PvE so play on low population servers. I don't like to be on completely alone. I just think its better when theres fewer people. It makes it seem like more of an apocalypse, 40 people on the map seems too much for me. On the mod I survived for a month living in the wilderness, hunting animals. I did enjoy the occasions of fear when I would suddenly get shot at or bump into another player, I would play on higher population servers if there wasn't so much KoS.
  11. Reading this gave me chills and memories of playing at night on the mod. How scary it was when you see car headlights coming your way in the pitch black.
  12. I'd like to see more variation, a screaming zed sounds cool, I can just imagine being in a building looting and then hearing it and being like "oh shit that was close".
