Gives a chance for lower end machines and broadband to connect instead of the all the servers being hogged by high end broadband and machines that really don't help the dev`s because that's what they already have themselves .

It's not overheating is just one of many bugs in this game .It's funny I get this bug but because my character is not saving and resets every time I log on to a server it does not effect me. I already know I'm going to be a fresh spawn even without a zombie killing me when screen black its so sad you gotta laugh. This is the worse dev team I've ever seen they seem to care more about what colour your gun is than fixing the core of the game. They also need to learn the difference between stable and experimental LOL.

LOL nice patch now my character resets every time I play . I am not being killed in the 30sec timeout I have had a friend watch me log . This is not a server problem as my friends are using the same servers without loosing there characters. Not everyone seems to be getting this bug but I know I`m not the only one by just reading the forums. This has made dayz unplayable for me . I know this is an alpha but its supposed to move fowards not backwards I used to really enjoy dayz standalone when it came out now it just annoys me. Anyone want a cheap copy of dayz ? .

WOW you get a warning I wish I got a warning LOL I just get my character wiped every time I log out no warning ever since last patch and no I am not getting eaten by zombies I have had a friend watching my character log out safely .

Yeah same here is happening nearly every-time to me too in fact today I have had my character wiped 3 times out of the 4 times I logged in this is ridiculous . I even had a friend watch me log out to make sure it wasn't an invisible zombies or something killing me after log-out and no this is 100% a bug since last update. I guess will have to find something else to play because this is not playable any more I know this is an alpha but its moving backwards LOL it should be moving forwards the game was more playable on day one than now. ps: Have just tested my broadband connection and is running very stable and I am getting the full speed I pay for . Also my ping to a server 60 miles away is 19ms.

Right at this moment no its worse than when it was released unless you can deal with constant character wipes that is ,and I mean constant its happening nearly every time I play.

Yep nearly every time I play I die threw one of these bugs if not the logging black screen of death (because behind that black screen your being eaten by zombies ) or logging out in safe spots to find next time log on my characters been deleted . Being killed by a desyncing player that's invisible on your screen. LOL I really cant remember the last time I lost my character a legit way. This game is not worth playing anymore till a few basics are fixed.

Yes the last patch to stable has introduced alot of new bugs. These same bugs were on testing so not sure why they moved it to stable.

Yes this is one of many new bugs that have just been added to stable version. Recent loot missing character not in same place as logged out people able to reloot body's even if the been hidden. Not sure why this patch was released into stable.

I like the new features but transferring the new looting bug from testing to stable was a really bad move rocket. Now people can reloot a body even if you hide it that sucks.

Yeah does work but there is no action text go to bush with torch in hand scroll mouse till turn on text disappear then spam action button be careful all berries I've found so far killed me lol think they were green ones but can't tell as no action text. Shame so many people don't know what they're talking about the op probably thinks it don't work now because of the 1st 2 idiots that replied.
