i doubt dayz would have skills or perks that are upgradable... its too mainstream in rpg games imo.

i have no idea why many players have been and still are raging about realism in this game. even my friend who doesnt play says "dude how can you crawl with a broken leg thats not possible." have you ever seen other fps games. they have a health bar or regenerate after few seconds of being shot also means your bones wont break even when you are shot -_-'' heard you can even revive a player who has received a headshot... another friend of mine said dude you can survive many days without food why is your character obsessed with food. i think if a game goes fully realistic then people would get either bored of it or quit because it's too hard. i think dayz did a great job making a realistic survival game like this where thirst and hunger is involved. this feels like Fallout 3 except more realistic because ammo and guns are harder to find and obtain. plus you can survive with a friend as well :) just wanted to share my thoughts :) happy gaming to you all from a person who appreciate this great game without criticizing how unrealistic some part of the games are.

here are some conditions/rules i go with, the hero way -never killed spawnlings -say hi to unarmed survivors -shoot with a pistol since taking a pistol is faster.... if you see a survivor trying to take out a weapon. -if a survivor run/flees as soon as he sees you, dont chase here are for survivors -find food and drinks -kill zombies avoid players Here are for the bandits -shoot without any reason - cripple the spawnlings for fun -shoot as soon as you see a survivor from far away -chase down the survivor if he attempts to run -make an unarmed person bleed to dead

click respawn... Press Esc(while the 30second countdown is ticking) then click respawn again. i did this 3 times and got it working... dunno if its only me or just lucky

put the filter to default and put the ping range to 150. you should catch more servers than 100. 150 ping is still playable. also try waiting like a minute after pressing refresh. if that doesnt help then it could be your location problem and the game not being able to find a stable server

if i were to get imprisoned i would just log in and out and respawn... and from what i know lock mechanism and safebox exist in mod version. so these are probably expected to come out :) maybe after months :D

of all the many survivors i met none of the friendly ones approach you directly. they stop about 10 meters away without weapons raised. and they wave at you to greet and type something in chat. personally if i see any survivors with their weapons raised i shoot them instantly. he was the idiot for getting into your survival space. for any unarmed men who get near you, give them a warning via chat or shoot on the ground to scare them. if they dont listen cripple them and they learn their lesson. remember if you dont have a helmet on, you are vulnerable to 1-3 punch knockout depending on your blood level.

son i said "about" 50m away could be more could be less. plus i didnt even tell you what i wore and i didnt even say sawn off. you really should read carefully what you read, kiddo. plus taking a zombie with a shotgun from far away is easy cuz they are just standing? you obviously didnt have much pvp yet. ever tried sniping with a shotgun derp

I've learn something from this game... If there is ever an apocalypse, well equiped and stocked people would doubt, ignore, and kill weak and dying person because they are scared. From what i know the community has bandits or heroes. personally i too am scared and doubt a player with a gun would kill me so i kill them instantly without hesitation unless that person has their weapon on their back. and because i want that feel of good pvp as well to claim who is stronger. Some times i lose some times i win. but heres something i dont understand. after i spawn, few minutes after i walk into a city, a guy with an axe puts a dent on my head... -_- i had nothing expect a flashlight aka nothing to loot hope to find a survivor who is friendly

yes yes taking all my gears is okay since i want to feel the suspense of challenge against another player. i like it when i kill people who have ammos and guns too. but it's just ridiculous how some people spawn kills you for fun? well not really spawn killing but like after you spawn few minute later a guy come at you and shoots you. i had one experience where i was naked and somebody who had an SKS started following me for no reason. i waved said something in chat, no response so i took off. later on he shot me in the legs in great distance(i think it was a magnum sound though) then i fell to the grounds. made me crawl, came over to me and did a killing blow. just weird how sadistic some people can be -_-

im actually dissing the people who are saying this game is unrealistic.... you dont get my point

i totally agree... sadly... i do that too BUT on people who have weapons. if the naked people try to hurt me by punching or hit me with a bat, i just cripple them to let them feel the pain of wanting to suicide. >:D
