http://pcpartpicker.com/ This is a great website to use when you are planning a new build. So I was just looking around and saw this combo deal on newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1508498. In my opinion this is a pretty good starting point and should work well. I would swap out the 7850 for a 7870 2gb video card however doing so will require a different mobo with a PCI 3.0 slot. I would also get a better power source, perhaps something 650-700 W (I like Seasonic). The case can be swapped to any other mid-size case if you do not like the design, but just make sure it comes with sufficient fans. Adding in Windows ($100) and a monitor (23", $130-160) should bring the total to around $1000. The SSD they have listed is a Samsung, and you can probably find another 128gb for cheaper although I use a Samsung SSD myself and it has been very reliable for me. I do not know a lot about building so some people may say to get different parts.
