Nice haul, anyone can do that. People are complaining about SCOPES. Specifically the LRS. I'm actually happy about this, now not everyone can snipe, it takes serious dedication to find a scope to snipe now.

I can confirm this happens. My buddy and I were sniping the Bolata Airfield camping server to server (I know shame on us bandits) and there were probably 4 other guys on a server that were not us. We were just going to loot some more ammo on this one when we saw some guy nonchalantly walks into the middle of the field and starts shooting his gun at every zombie he sees. One of the guys on the server had a clan tag matching the server, and I head-shot him in about 25 seconds after we saw him on the first shot. Shortly after, the server reset. The guy was gone when we went back in and we heard noise behind us, and the guy had ghost logged to us. He killed my buddy but I pulled out my .45 and took him out right after. Server reset again, and we just didn't log back on. One time I can see as a rare coincidence, but not twice. It was the same guy both times.

So I have been playing with DayZ and TS3 with a group of friends. One of the survivors we met joined up with us, downloaded teamspeak and now he cannot hear DayZ sounds when he has TS3 open. Does anyone know why this is?

I think its funny, bandits can work together to AT LEAST kill all of the heroes. I will be there for sure. However once we kill all the heroes it will be a bloodbath over the loot. Don't worry, we will kill the heroes.

With the new update all you have to do to change your name is go into the main menu where you can see play, configure, character, etc, and left click on your name in the bottom right corner to edit it. Hope this helps

I have gone around the map on a server with only two other people on it. Started at NWAF and went down the coast, east along the coast, and up to NEAF. I got quite a few bi-pods, found one LRS (badly damaged) 3 compensaters, 2 ACOG sights, and a red dot sight. It is possible to get them but now they are insanely rare, and will be treated with more caution hopefully.,

Personally I feel like the drop chance was nerfed, but I have seen a few here and there, just they are a heck of a lot harder to find. Good luck on a pristine one

As stated before, DayZ right now is mainly PvP. I like the idea of PvP. I will admit I am one of those evil terrible KoSers. I won't argue why I do it, but to me the game IS about PvP. Zombies can be buffed, loot can be nerfed, but in the end, the only threat that can out THINK you is the Dev team or a player.

The whole 0.30.something made no sense, when does this come in for public servers.

I'm not sure if this is a hack or not. I have been playing for 200+ hours (Never played the mod) and this has not happened to me. That would make me assume it was a hacker, but BE combats that, so it could just be a really rare bug. Either way, I have not encountered this yet. Besides, just thinking about it, if indeed it was a hacker, then wouldn't they need to know your name to do things to you? Or at least see you in the game?

From personal experience here is what I can tell you. Ruined items offer no protections or use. Ammo will not load, etc. Badly damaged bandages, or damaged bandages have chance to infect your wounds and make you sick. Clothing and armor will also apply no armor from zombie attacks, or bullets if ruined and offers far less protection if it is badly damaged. Weapons and scopes obviously are impaired.

I lied guys, I am gonna be a smart ass. Don't hate on his idea of this. He wants it, and so do other people. Just like your little cry for help of getting rid of 3rd person. He has his opinion, you have yours, and I have mine.

You know I saw this title and I was all oh sweet time to make a smart butt remark on how there are no indicators in real life and tear apart why it wouldn't work. Then I read your post and your neatly underlined sentence. Nice job :)

FNX anyday. Sure the magnum is loud and feels better but I had a .45 and a guy with a magnum shot me in the back. It didn't kill me and I had 5 shots in him before he got the chance to shoot me again.

Someone said logging out fixed broken legs, I'm sure its gonna be patched soon

I've been camping NW Airfield for a while now (Shame on me, dirty little KoS camper) and I've started to notice a trend in killing people. Many times shooting people in the back would kill them, other times it wouldn't. Sometimes it would knock them out, sometimes it wouldn't. Those who were knocked out and still talked, I asked if they were damaged. The mosin seems to not one shot anyone with 100% full life, but anyone whos been injuries a moderate amount seems to die in one shot. However, I also noticed some chest shots with people who were hurt wouldn't die in one shot, and those that didn't had a tactical vest on. Those who did had nothing, a chest holster, or an assault vest. What I'm asking here, is are there currently any ways to see what clothes give you protection from bullets, zombies, axes and such? I know for a fact I have blocked zombie attacks and I seem to live longer after an attack when I have a ballistic helmet, gas mask, and a tactical vest.

Again, KoS is not a community problem, its YOUR problem. Learn to avoid people or become a cold hard killer like the majority of us

Common misconception, it will only one hit kill if you get a heart or head shot or they are already low. While I do use the mosin its not a one shot kill all the time as everyone says. But theres no doubt it does way more then the m4
