Just like to start of saying, this is an interesting thread some good points but correct me if I'm wrong but people who have killed someone in self defense are less likely to go crazy and develop brain conditions so if thats the case how do you implement these features in the game, without penalizing the people that have only killed people in self defense for instance, in the mod I tried to play a hero so I only killed people who were shooting at me but because of the way the karma/humanity system was set up I would more often than not be in a bandit outfit. Because the people I killed were not always bandit skin themselves so my humanity would go down so I.e how do you stop someone from getting the conditions you have stated when they only kill in self defense how does the game know the difference?

In 80 hours of play I have only found 2 both in the school/office buidling.

It's nice to see people really enjoying the game, but don't over do it you may get bored before some new cool features come out I have around 80 hours played and I am at that stage where I'm waiting for new stuff so that it stays fresh for me and I don't get put off to early.

I highly doubt that. even on servers that don't restart all the time there is always loot to find unless your annoyed because you can't find like 200 5.56 rounds in twenty minutes

I believe hunting is the next big feature adding patch planned, as i remember Dean stating on a a livestream that it was coming out not long after alpha was released but with the recent big bugs I assume it will be pushed back somewhat.

It's a real shame so many people lack patience these days, I am just glad that it is out now we can all participate in it and help fix major issues and give constructive feedback, Dean has said hes not expecting people to play this game non stop at the stage it is now he expects people leave and come back when patches come out and more features are added.

How would this game be fun whatsoever if it was PVE? seriously can not understand the mindset of people who wanna play Dayz PVE I really want someone to give me some plausible answers (I'm mind boggled).

I believe combat logging solutions are coming Dean stated the same idea as yours and compared it to the sort of log out timer from World of Warcraft.

Really great idea this idea alone needs a thread to see what the community thinks. also I'm sure it would not be to hard to implement.

As already mentioned stream sniping is only a 'HUGE PROBLEM' for the streamer, I have a lot of respect for streamers and content creators as they help to showcase said game and I can see how it can be annoying but it sure is not a huge problem

The hour wait or any sort of wait to respawn is a terrible idea I'm not going to pay for a game that makes you wait a certain amount of time before you respawn it has no benefit whatsoever, it's up to the individual to choose weather they value their character and the time restriction will just annoy people who wanna just get on and play, I do agree with a time restriction on joining a brand new server, but I believe Dean has mentioned this in a previous stream stating that a good idea would be to increase the amount of time it would take to join a new server e.g a 1 minute wait for joining a new server then doubling it every time.

this is easy to get out of when you know how, people use it as a glitch you just need to jump vault into the room with the computer in it and you should get out, so to clarify run directly at the wall with the computer on it and vault jump through it should work -

I have be known to KOS when I deem it necessary when I think there is to much risk in not killing someone, but I don't really wanna see KOS reduced it makes the game scary even if they buffed zombies Kos is a part of this game and banditry alows people that play hero characters to have someone to kill and a purpose apart from just giving aid to those in need.

No mate most people are reducing view distance to help with Fps issues it should be fine.

DayZ is the only multiplayer survivor game thing where you can't carry like 10 guns, WHICH IS FANTASTIC, lets keep it this way

I like the way the game currently allows you to have one holstered gun and one in your hands. I hope it stays that way. -

1.You beat Dayz when you give a fresh spawn your weapon and still manage to beat him to death with your fists. 2. You beat Dayz when you figure how to go up hills at a run. (nuff said)

I agree there is a little to much 5.56 ammo to be found in the military buildings/bases but I believe this will be slowly reduced as more guns are brought into the game with different ammo types.

not a bad idea as long as it was implemented in a Day Z like fashion. but it's not exactly at the top of my list of stuff I want in the game -

I quite like the idea of the spawns being more east now that a lot of the military gear is found west, although I have not spawned since the change, I do believe it will stop people from getting geared so quickly which iMo makes you value your loot more when it is harder to acquire. Also in response to the guys killing new spawns by feeding them disinfectant and conducting what they call medical experiments, I don't support such behaviour but it is funny to see and at least they are being creative about it. -

I understand what your saying, Day z where it is right now can seem like it's very repetitive but IMO what keeps it fresh and new for me is my interactions with other players weather it be a pair of bandits that need to be killed or a fresh spawn that needs some starter gear. I guess to answer your question the point of this game is to see what you will do with the other human beings you come in contact with, sounds a bit simple I know but a great amount of fun can be had when you have a big imagination.
