Who would know better?

Ha! This is what it's going to boil down to. And I don't want to play like that. But I also don't want to accidentally run around with someone who KOSED me a day earlier, either. Or pass them in the street, as they kiss my ass because now I'm the one with the gun and they are not. This sucks!

Well I feel you get more out of the game by not KOSING! Think about it, If you go around shooting everyone, that gets lame fast. But if you hold them up, take their stuff, and then release them, that's fun to me. And in my opinion, playing the game correctly. Don't get me wrong, there are great players who choose the bandit lifestyle. And we need them to make the game more interesting. It's the nubies that run around frightened, trigger happy, quivering to every sound and shadow. These guys need to relaxe, stay calm and most importantly, stay off the main roads LOL! Besides, I feel that their are three stages of player. One being the total Bambie KOSER. Two Being the total Babmie sniper, KOSER-both of which are pretty lame. Three being the more experienced player. These are the players who have master the game. The really good players. The ones who hold you up. The ones who release you unharmed.

Yeah, I could care less about a kill announcement. All I want is a a way to find out who killed me. Even if it's a personal message. Otherwise, everyone is going to KOS. I want my revenge, dammit! I know, for me at least, not knowing who the bandit was, has lead me to be more prone to KOSING. And I'm not that kind of player. Why, you ask? Well I feel you get more out of the game by not KOSING! Most of you probably all ready know this guy. But for those Bambies who don't, here's one of his many, many, videos. I recommend that you watch as many as you possibly can. Keep an eye on his tactics. He's probably the best player out there. I wouldn't plug just anyone, no, it's the fact that watching these videos of him playing, has dramatically improved my playing. I mean DRAMATICALLY! P.S.

AWESOME GUYS! This is so helpful! Im going to go about it like this: Magnum - 2 shot kill to the chest. Mosen - 3 shot kill to the chest. M4 - 4 shot kill to the chest. Fire axe - 2 shots to the chest. This seems fine to me so far. I'll have to find some bandits and test it out.

Yes, there all ready is something ingame to prevent KOS. It's called ruined. If you shoot someone, you will ruin their gear, and get hardley nothing worth taking. With this in-game, test sever, I would imagine bandits would much rather hold someone up and take their stuff, instead of KOS. P.S. You cannot KOS what you cannot see.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. There are a lot of variables. I've seen videos on people one-shotting with the magnum, but in the heat of the moment, he didn't look as though he was going down. Wish I could test this theory out on someone. Any volunteers?

Yeah man, it's the way he plays that I find invaluable to the noob. I think he may have a few step by step totourials, but watching his videos has increased my gaming ability ten-fold! And yes, I would love to see your videos, man!

I'm not sure that's 100% true. Either way, you'd have to purchase another CD keys, right? And each time it would scan your computer. So...? I don't watch hackers either. I've watched every Frankie video, and can say with total and unbiased honestly, through personal experience, I can't find any hacking anywhere. Hmmm, perhaps our definition of "HACKER" is different? I'm curious, what do you consider a hacker to be, my friend?

The reason I think his videos are some of the best for new players is the way he plays. They are not tutorials, that's true. But the he plays, his tactics, are fantastic! His positioning, his absolute awareness of his surroundings. The way he moves without ever being seen. The way he uses range finders and snipes. Ive personally have never seen someone hit a player from his max distance, counting out the distance and adjusting his aim. It;s insane. And about peeking over walls in third? Ummm, what are you talking about man? How is that bad?

Hey guys, Frankie is no Hacker. And I have the means of proving it. He really is just that good. There is a anti-hack program attached to the Dayz mod that scans your computer while downloading the client. If the program detects previous hacker attempts, as far back as two or three years, you will be forever banned from all the servers for life. And seeing how he has talked about this said program, and still plays Dayz, he is no hacker. Just because someone is smarter, faster, and better than an other, doesnt all ways mean they are a hacker. I love Frankie!
