Well yeah, I always play servers below 50 ping, just makes sense really. The only annoying this I have noticed from this patch is the FPS drop everywhere, can't record the game anymore

You serious? I can take hits and not bleed for ages, I have only ever died by zombies once and that was when I was a fresh spawn and about 5 rushed in a building at me and this guy and they broke by legs, he shut the door and put me out my pain, I think zombies should be more powerful tbh. I am never getting ruined gear and 1 hit deaths by them

I wouldn't say they were OP, just a little broke atm but are still very easy to kill imo

I mean for hunting yes, but for real pvp when the other players have rifles then I cant see anyone using it unless you are sneaking up on them which again does not really work most of the time

On the Dayz menu at the bottom right your name should appear, simply click on it and you should be able to change it to what you want EDIT* If you cant do this this then it might have something to do with the hack

I'm having the opposite, I can't stop finding the SKS with tonnes of ammo and there is great loot everywhere

I can never even find the binoculars anyway :P

(Just for the record I never play like this, I just wanted to see what playing like a bandit is all about) So yeah, I went on a HC server and geared up. Now I was playing as a really dirty and scum bag bandit just to see what the enjoyment was like for these people. So with my SKS and camouflaged clothes I just camped out at the ship wreck down from Svetlojarsk just waiting for any player I could find, gear or no gear. I ended up killing around 4 players after I got a little bored, the first player only had a axe and he was running into the ship, I shot him in the chest and he just looked at me while I aimed at his head and ended his life. The second guy was a complete fresh spawn and it was a clean shot in the back of the head, the other to kills were about the same and I ended up feeling sorry for them, they had nothing and I was just killing them so I stopped doing it. Overall enjoyment: None what so ever (The bandit life is not the life for me)

So, I was at the airfield near Krasnostav and I saw a player on top of the ATC tower. This is no special kill or anything but he was taking shots at players and camping it out, I moved to a good position to take my shot... I zoomed in and fired 3 shots and he was a dead man, but they way he fell off the tower was cosmetically perfect, they rag doll thing is great, it looked like something out of a film and even thinking of it now its so badass! That is my story. GG

The zombies in he SA right now are very weak, 1 shot from any gun and axe, with the exception of 1 axe you don't even need to get a head shot making them very easy to kill and no threat to most people in the game within 5 to 10 minutes of logging in as fresh spawn. They should make them vulnerable to a head shot but make body, arm and leg shots not one hit and not even two hit. Make them so you need to think about zombies, for example if you are trying to get to the fire station in Elektro, atm you can walk near and around zombies like they are not even there knowing that you can take them out no problem with what you have, but if you make it so a clean head shot is the fastest way to do it players cant just try to ignore zombies because if you aggro them then you will need to run for a min before you aim down sights and that means you will be unsteady you you will most likely miss you first shots then he is right in front of you again so you need to run further back and so on. You get what I mean. It will make the game feel more like a zombie survival, not just looking out for other players because right now they are still no threat and can be easily ignored even in city's like Cherno and Elektro where they should be the main things to look out for.

That destroys the whole idea of it being a zombie game though, and the story would be random and bad. Dont think that would work imo And zombies should be a source of frustration, they are zombies xD

Okay, I agree with you but I stand by my argument body shots should not 1 hit kill no matter what atm

Just wanted to know if anyone else was getting this? My FPS is fine at around 50-60 and then it dips to 20ish for a few seconds randomly, I don't need to be near a city It happens anywhere. (Its not my PC) <--- I'm running a MSI TwinFrozr GTX 770, I can run this game maxed out fine, stays around 40 but i choose to play on high just to get more FPS. The dips are not bad just noticlble. Anyone else? **Did not mean to put it on suggestions, sorry

You dont even really need to chop it down, when it first happend to me i just waited untill i could pick it up again :P depends what situation you are in

Today I was fully geared, I went down the coast near Elektro to find a bambi, I ended up finding 4. The first one i gave my clothes, backpack and SKS to with a few rounds. The next I gave a Mosen with no rounds (Did not have any) and the last to who were together I gave a axe, some spare clothes and ammo for random guns. DayZ SA needs more nice people...

I saw a very cool picture where at the start menu you could see some interesting stats next to your player, nothing to give you any advantage over other players, just something thats would want players to survive longer because they can see there progress when they log in. I would like this feature its really cool in my opinion.
