    The desync is completely unplayable, since the last 2 patches I have lost connection instantly after joining any server. I hoped the guaranteed message system would fix this but it seems to have had no impact. I'm not sure if something is wrong with my connection, the game, or both. I used to be to play with minimal desync in past patches.

    Haven't found or written any notes. But I check whenever I find paper. I think I might record a journal entry of cool shit that happens so when someone finds my body it will have a story behind it

    Emergency Stable Patch Feedback

    I still disconnect all the time and get session lost on servers with 10 players. When I played on a different hive server with no gear, I had less desync than with full gear. This seems to be the cause. Hopefully the guaranteed message system will fix this.
  4. Iv'e been pretty successful sneaking past zombies, just stay out of their line of sight and don't get too close. If they chase you just run for a bit and lead them away.

    Any way to decrease desync

    I get tons of desync even when on nearly empty servers, on the latest experimental it is a bit better, but I still sometimes get 100000 desync. Is there anything I can do to decrease this?
  6. I have this problem also, every server I join has horrible desync and then I get session lost.
  7. If you hold shift while walking zombies don't seem to notice you as much, I was able to sneak up on and kill a zombie this way

    Tent Alternatives

    Maybe instead of tents it would make more sense to stash a backpack, or protector cases in the woods. Certain items such as these could be set not to despawn, or despawn only when not used for long periods of time.
  9. zombies walking through walls, being unable to climb stairs, and sometimes being invisible is the worst.

    Maybe some soviet weapons like SKS, AKs, and PPSH. The older WW2 guns should spawn in lower condition than others due to age

    Medical Ideas

    I think it's a bit unrealistic how morphine magically heals broken legs. I think having to limp around for a certain amount of time on a splint would make more sense. Morphine should instead act like a painkiller. To compliment this, medical splints should spawn somewhat commonly in hospitals. Also, what happened to those wounded animations they showed in a devblog a while back. It would be cool to see players limp around when they got low on health. It would also be a nice addition to have bandages visible on players.

    I know that you can use splints, but they only cause you to limp until you use morphine, I am suggesting that splints heal you after time, and that morphine does not instantly and unrealistically heal your broken legs.

    Zombie AI

    I only need to sprint for about a minute and they seem to lose interest. As for breaking line of sight, they seem to run straight through any walls or buildings I try to hide behind.

    More weak civilian weapons like 22. cal rifles and pistols. I would like to see some cool melee weapons like katanas. We also need crossbows and bows.

    If the sickness was caused by overeating, maybe eating the charcoal filled you up more. I would wait a bit and try charcoal again.

    Some suggestions

    I have been following this game for a while and have played many of the Dayz mods. I bought standalone earlier today and played for a few hours. I have come up with ideas for the alpha. #1. Melee weapons need to be buffed. I had to hit a zombie about 20 times with my crowbar before it died. On some melee weapons aiming for the head is near impossible, and a person should always beat a zombie 1v1. I think body hits should knock over zombies more frequently, and headshots cause a one-hit kill. With smaller weapons like knives, body shots would do minimal damage, and not knock over. Maybe adding a shove mechanic like left4dead would help, or a chivalry like blocking system that has been discussed. #2. After eating the consumable item is automatically put back on the ground/inventory. This is annoying if you are eating more than one serving. #3. I am not sure when I am restoring blood or not. The notifications showing whether you are hungry or thirsty on the inventory help. Maybe add a notification called "healthy" when you are restoring blood. #4. Once servers are more stable, I think it would be cool and realistic to have massive hordes (10-30) zombies in the large cities. This would cause players to work together, and not waste ammo (or risk detection) by attacking each other. Currently zombies glitch through walls and such. Once these bugs are worked out I would not want zombies to be able to open doors, or add the ability to barricade doors. This would make it so that the large hordes would not be too impossible, and a chance for survivors to rest, eat, and heal. Also adding distraction objects like flares/fireworks/speakers to lure zombies away. #5. I don't know how the current loot spawning system works. I think players should be able to place container items and backpacks on the ground and not have them despawn, as an alternative to the mods tents. feel free to add your own suggestions or comment on mine, good job on the alpha so far dayz team!

    Redbrick building FTW

    All of the small apartment buildings seem to have a lot of food and ammunition. Even in the center of Elektro on a full server, I was able to find a lot of gear.
