Such as simple plastic pellets used for riots.

Since everyone seems to strongly disagree, play State Of Decay. It's exactly what you described. It even has multiplayer.

Ideas and real life factors that could make DayZ more realistic (which could prevent shooting on sight in the long run)

No, just no. There is over a hundred DayZ rip-offs these days. We don't need to rip-off a rip-off even though it might be a good rip-off such as State of Decay. -

Hordes have been suggested time and time again. -
I feel the same way.

With the help of the crowbar we can lower that time needed around 2-1minutes depending on skill. But theese methods would make break-in bases rather a simle task. So,player secured positions can be achived by additional upgradable locking mecahnisms rendering the above break-in methods useless, but still making it do albe for the thieves to break in. Or charging a truck through the door and surrounding wall.

Suggest it.

Yes, lets. Then we can add nukes as an ultra rare mega-weapon. Keep the content reasonable.

To quote Katana67, Chernarus is a fictional country. With a fictional history. Existing in a fictional universe. With fictional circumstances being applied to it. If for one moment you think a weapon is too rare/expensive/unused/regulated in the real-world to be found in Chernarus - See the FN FNX, M1911 (rendered as a modified Kimber Warrior), and the Amphibia S.

Hahaha, no! Plz for the love of all bandits.

Instead of writing off everyone as immune, how about we create a more compelling experience by having a 50-50 chance of your character being immune to the virus? It's a random statistic and you don't know or not until you get bit. Then you have to check for symptoms, could just be typhoid from that walking rot-bag or the actual virus. This brings in a new standard of trying to actually avoid the zombies. If your character isn't immune, you're in trouble. There's no cure. Eventually, your character turns into an undead loot-bag. Personally it sounds lazy when we just go "Everyone's immune!" and leave it at that. But you could slow the disease by giving the blood of an immune player to a non-resistant player. This could buy the infected person some time. Plus, it would make everyone worry if they're going to turn or not if they get hit or bit.

First time anyone admitted that on this forum.

The Community's List of Suggested Weapons for Dayz Standalone (Version: 1.29)

fp-45 liberator -
The ol' oil refinery lies near the coast. There's empty barrels and barrels of crude oil. The crude oil wouldn't really have much uses except making floors slippery and to set things ablaze with. Empty barrels could be used for barricades and obstacles along with breaking them down for scrap metal.

Already added into the standalone.

Like Dark Souls's gesture system.
-
Name says it all. First it traps the target before quickly imploding.
-
The Liberator was a small gun made of sheet metal that was snuck across enemy lines easily during world war 2 that would hold only one .45 caliber bullet. The bullet only travels 25 feet. A gun that should only be used during desperate times.
-
Why does it have to abide to reality? it's a fictional world!
-
Start a forest fire so everyone's forced back out.
-
At least we can go to the club! Although there's probably no one there, we could have the dance floor all to ourselves. An excellent clan idea!

I'm scared to even click the link.

while a guitar solo shreds in the background.

Eh, I expect to find it in some poor sod's man-cave.

Because it reminds me of a modern day Dark Souls
