An Issue with the New Spawns AKA "The Kamyshovo Massacre"
Propulsion_Joe replied to wgaf's topic in General Discussion
With the old spawn points , people would come walking into a town and we would get a lot of RP interaction. It would only be about 10 - 15 people. With the new spawn points we get angry people who are running around in spastic manners, flipping us off, and being generally unpleasant. This is why we had to up the brutality. Bullets to the head, hacking the bodies so they bleed everywhere, and executing people on top of mass graves. These people do not have to walk into the town, they can choose to go all the way around. -

Several sources close to the event said these souls were dragged out in the middle of the night while they were sleeping. That explains the lack of pants ;) -
An Issue with the New Spawns AKA "The Kamyshovo Massacre"

There was a lot of ballistics tests conducted today. News reports out of Kamyshovo reported 55 souls massacred there. With several others left unaccounted for (combat log). Some of the people that were rounded up for extermination put up a fight with their fists. Others knew their fate and simply accepted it. -
Suggestions for the defibrillator

Because it is necessary to depopulate the coast. It is a better experience for the victim if we torture them rather than just shoot them in the head. You can give them bad blood, bad fruit, disinfectant. All things good! -
I love the new spawns. Prior to the update, our medical research group would get about 12-15 subjects in a night. Today we got 51, a new record.

I believe the default for fire selection is "H"

Met up with a buddy, ran around military loot sites, grabbed some revolvers and ammo. Tonight we begin ballistics tests on our subjects.

How to authentically strike the right balance of PvP in DayZ SA.

Any direct changes to deter pvp will just turn the game into loot farm simulator 2014 and so on. -

Today our death squad sacrificed 25 people to the god of death. Some of these were armed guys trying to sneak up on us. Most were people coming into town whose trust we won. Some were shot in the head at the altar of death, others were axed, and some were experimented on. A memorable one was a gentleman who we brought over so he could quench his thirst. While he was drinking I placed a line in with a random blood bag that I pulled from my medical experiment backpack. Unfortunately it ended up being a correct blood type. Luckily, he already had a liberal portion of disinfectant to keep him clean. We ended up growing impatient and had a few too many sacrifices in queue. Alas, we were forced to terminate the subject prematurely. Another memorable one involved Hell Captain and myself as we manned a skeleton crew in the town. I was observing from headquarters as hell captain was scouting. He found a man with a pipe wrench out. He sweet talked him and the man put his weapon away. This would not last. When they got to the well he pulled it out and took some swings at hell captain. I do not think the man counted on me being right around the corner. Both HC and myself unloaded on the misguided soul. As the color faded from his body and his pupils dilated, I made sure to let him know how poor his choice of action was.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong. We do not KOS. The thing that makes this game a rewarding experience is the constant risk that comes from interactions. My group chooses to mitigate that risk by killing them (through unconventional means). Who said this has to be a real life simulation? To me it is just a game. Penalizing people who kill others would make this game terrible and turn it into a "life" game. Maybe that is what you want? Maybe that is what you need.

Some people just kos everyone because it is just a game. Remember some people are not as into this game as others. I know the group I am part of kill people through medical experimentation because every person we kill is one less threat we have to worry about. This in turn allows to continue our task (depopulating the coast).

Read Thomas Hobbes Leviathan, that will tell you everything you need to know about how humans act devoid of order.

Sounds like you should stop playing the game.

Trying to help people new to the game.

Nah, that is not any fun. The group that I am part of actually try to keep it pretty heavy on the RP and really stress focus, communication, and movement among our group. -
I have seen several zombie movies in which groups of survivors will kill other groups for their stuff. Unrelated, but have you ever read the book The Road, or seen the movie. It is about the apocalypse, no zombies though. Read that book or watch that movie and you will get a better idea.

Exterminate all life on the coast. But we do not just shoot them, we perform experiments on them that make them wish we would have just shot them. -
.44 mag is so much fun. My buddies and I go out to shooting often. One time my friend brought his 44 and I bought a big watermelon. One round of .44 mag from about 8 feet away caused one of the best watermelon explosions I have ever seen.

In a game where order has collapsed and you must survive at all costs, the only thing one should think about is eliminating risks. Any person you encounter is a risk. The only thing you should think of is how fast you should kill an unarmed person and where you do it from.

If you look back at my posting history. You will see that the group I am part of leads people behind a house or into a shack by a water pump to murder them. We do it under false promises of food, medicine, and general gear :). As for our weapons tests. The difference between a shot to the nuts vs a shot to the chest is lower body shots will damage the pants and anything above the belt will damage the jacket. *EDIT* This post is directed at Dchill. Quote button did not capture his post.

The DHS Medical Division is very excited about the .357. We look forward to reporting the results from our ballistics tests on our test subjects.

If you are ever on the coast, look for the Day Z Hero Society Medical Division. We would be more than happy to provide you with medical care for your long journey. Enjoy the game!

Third person view removal from SA discussion

I think John needs to understand this: You cannot know people's intentions, so you judge them by their capabilities.
