This seems to be fixed... joined a few servers today and my character was always there

Logged into some server earlier and was a fresh spawned, so figured my character was wiped Anyway just now logged into a different server and I have my fully geared character from before the patch? how does this work?

Here is what Rocket said on reddit: The server hosters set the hive for the servers to use. The new update was quite complex, and introduced a number of new settings that server hosting providers needed to configure. There has been significant confusion with some of them, as the instructions we have sent have not always filtered down to the engineers and techs rolling up the updated servers. Hence, many of the servers have been configured to use the WRONG hive. I believe this is in progress. If you notice a server doing this, post here the name/ip of the server and we can look into it. There is no known issue with the core architecture, the only issues we have identified so far are issues with problematic configuration.

I think right now Hardcore Mode only means that third person is turned off Also Hardcore Mode and Regular Mode are on their own hives meaning you cannot transfer your character between the two

well if you check the general discussion forum you will see lots of other posts on this subject, so am sure they are aware of this issue, personally it happened to me a few times, and other times it saved fine, and also it seems some people never get this problem while others always get this problem, so maybe its hard to track the bug down

I think this changed with the patch I remember before the patch I would go to the construction site near Berezino and there'd always be literally like 10 backpacks there, enough for the whole server lol But after patch, last few times I went there I found no backpacks, not even a single one, even though server had just been restarted

in another thread, someone posted a video of this happening in a Vilayer server: so not sure if this issue is specific to any server provider

Eh was looking for a daylight server but all servers appear to be on night and on same time? is this supposed to be like that?

I've become unconscious twice so far and in both cases, the respawn button worked first try So I guess it has been fixed? or was I lucky?

found a daytime server finally There are a couple of them, though they are usually full you have to keep refreshing until a slot opens
