There are many threads about this, but anyway the game is still in Alpha so am sure all concerns will be addressed

Also note that painkillers do nothing if you are bleeding, hungry, or thirsty :) I tried those out of desperation but my character still died

This is what I use: DayZ Standalone Symptoms It says exactly what you have based on the message you are getting, and how to cure it Its important because if you take medicine or something that you are not supposed to, it will actually make you more sick instead of better

if you eat too much food you will vomit so its part of the challenge of not eating too much

Are can openers implemented in the game yet? havent found one so far. Died several times of starvation carrying food cans in my backpack which i couldnt open haha

What are the books you find good for?

Can you open cabinets/refrigerators etc? Because I figure it'd make sense to find food inside But not sure if its supposed to be openable or its just there for environment

How do I change windowed mode in Standalone? Cant see option under video options I tried googling it but many results show up from the mod and tell me to configure a settings file which I cant locate Thanks
