because eugen talked hopelessly about experimental for this week, and when they do it, it's usually delayed. another reason is, well, they are almost never on time this past few months. i know they are working on it but still it's delayed right ? :)

Sounds like we are not getting .59 today. Somethings telling me its delayed to next week. Well, i have dota and apb reloaded to play so iguess its okey.

i know i'm being un-patient here but i really like to hear the reason you know? i know there most be a reason not to release it today for sure maybe some other thing went wrong. hopefully we get to see the update tomorrow after maintenance. so the status report is officially happening in Wednesday too now? from what i knew, they delayed it a day or too then it kept being out at wedsndays.

i hate this silent treatment !? why no one say a word about it? last time i checked it was ready to go but some hardware failure which is resolved caused them to delay, so whats taking so long :( guess they want to extend it so they have something to talk in status report :D

i think they are playing with evangelists (AKA streamers!?) it seems they are having so much fun that they forgot about releasing the update :D

from what i hear, they want to force people to use civilian guns, so they most make all the military guns rarer a bit (but M4's are rare enough i guess) and also there will be less ammo available now, that exactly what i wanted :)

Well, i was playing APB:Reloaded and in my clan a women named Lisa said to his friend that they should go an play DayZ, i was like WTF is dayz that everyone is playing now? i can't buy anything from steam because of the country i am in, so they suggested me to play Infestation. after some months, in my birthday i heard from her there is a standalone version upcoming and he will gift that game as my birthday present. people are awesome man, awesome!

this all makes sense and i do agree with all you said here (beside the base building part, i love what they showed in concept, i hate what epoch and rust did with it) still, it seems i made my point in a bad way. i meant, there is not much challenge for now but PvP and storing items in tents (which gets boring at a point) weather challenge isn't much of a challenge, there is no zombies (i already know the reason), hunting has no rewards since cooking is bugged, food is everywhere you look etc... it seems the only thing that challenge you right is pvp. i tried to make some missions for myself, like find 20 glow plugs since they are a little more rare than other stuff it seems (which lead me to some fun with people) and i tried to fulfill it but at some point i just stopped because i can't have that many cars ^^ so long story short, in my opinion and for me, there is not much challenges or tools to make my own story right now.

Road map are not promised date time for release stuff. that means they will try to achieve those goals. there is a lot of stuff that delayed it in the past (they delayed everything 1-2 months because they needed to deal with cheats in the past, this is just one example) and you should expect more of this. as for the beta, i don't thing they will achieve that goal on time, judging from this 2 month stable cycle (which probably is related to those heavy merges of engine) and then again, i don't see this as a developer issue, it's just the nature of an EA game.

Ah damn, okey then. all hope is lost for this weekend. #SADMAN

i just sum-up all new cars, that's the reason. but shame on me, how could i not mention it specifically :( ---------------------------- i do agree, there is absolute no end-game potential right now, only the pvp. not much choice for end-games, only pvp + officer's tent glitch = ridiculously boring end-game for now. it's is just go to officers tent, pvp, die, spawn, go to officer tent and it goes on and on. camp's are cool, but how much you want to store anyway (especially for me as a lone-wolf) i'm not saying it's developers fault, it's just the nature of an EA game.

Not exactly, people a year ago (Like me) say that there is more progress behind the scene than what we see at the game. the reason being, some engine modules take more time to being completely developed (Making it, testing it, bugfixing etc...) and you can't really show the progress because there is only codes to show. now it's different, we already know that in .59 engine modules are being merged, that means they are past creating those modules (even new damage module is being configured for testing in .59 experimental) there is a list of modules states in a status report. anyways, what they showed already are awesome, stuff like new cars, dirt bike (which is planned for .60), New Inventory GUI in progress, those basebuilding concepts, soft skills and life span, electricity, contaminated zones concepts and the beast of all, Little Bird.

Exactly, upcoming updates are really exciting. it's like a sum up of all this years of development. we will see every behind the scene development which are a lot. most of game changer updates are in front of us.

Combat knifes are like everywhere nowadays :lol: you can Drag and drop on military boots in order to store the knife there. the thing is in the past, you could see the boots in the inventory list with a open slot (which you can scroll) but now it is just above the list and it doesn't show like it can store something like before.

it most be thursday because i remember eugen said holidays come sooner this week in prague(where they are, spell wrong maybe) because public holiday. so friday most be the holiday. so it most be thursday, right?

when i wrote this, i was actually thinking of a poker game with some random people and you lose a lot of money in game that you actually rage and shot everyone :D :P

i know that. jacks once had something like this i think and this one is for my favorite char, bobby: also there were some cargo Harley that perfectly fit's the need of chernarus, you can have some beans in the cargo.

i didn't understand any of those technical infos, but this bike looks great and fits in dayz as hell. anyways, i'm a big fan of the "Sons Of Anarchy" series and i hope that one day we can have some Harley-Davidson bikes and have a crew just like SAMCRO and ride those beauties to seven hell of chernarus. just look at this, isn't it perfect? i just love it :thumbsup:
