yeah, forgot to mentioned that. you always should use vicinity while in sheds.

while we don't know if it's bugged or not, but items in tents and back packs should not count due to this quote from eugen. Done some editing in my replay.

First of, those things are really rare. second, Glow plugs spawns only at sheds. Third, IMO, never look exclusively for glow plugs, it's frustrating. check every sheds on the way to your destination to find one. 4th, my last try on finding those took me 5-6 hours but after that i found one, i found more. 5th, if your gonna exlucively search for those, try towns that no one goes normally.

if you feel this way, you can play "Private Hive" which has it's own loot economy and it's on character database (AKA, Hive)

What i say is basically my observation or my understanding from devs tweets and reports, thus this may not be 100% right: 1. Servers restart every 12 Hours now, items do respawn anytime. so the idea is, items have a nominal/minimum/medium/maximum count on a server and if the item reach its minimum number, there is a 50% chance to spawn in any spawn point in the map in any given time and if it reach it's medium loot spawns in priorities, also (not confirmed) i think if loot reach a nominal count it will be force to spawn somewhere and if it reachs it's maximum it won't be respawned anymore. the item's count per server reduces when someone drop something in the map and CLE (Central Loot Economy) will clean it up. (obviously this is how it should work which is not right now due to some clean-up system bugs) also worth nothing to mention that, items in players inventor/tents/barrels/backpacks etc won't count into account for CLE (YET) 2. since you were away from the game for such a long time, you may just not know what spawns where (ofc, item's rarity is control by devs through CLE in real time which mean they can change numbers in CLE without an update, etc..) so for your info, jail houses (AKA camo building) and vehicles with no intractable parts do not spawn loots at all. you can only find civilian guns and pistols in cities. Old Barracks building which had a shower room seems not to spawn any gun to me, only military grade clothing. new barracks building which there is a great number of it at NWAF and military tents seem to spawn any guns with exception of NATO guns. police cars only spawns SMG and Pistols. Heli-crash sites and officer tents do spawn NATO weapons (AUG, M4A1 and AK101) and mags for them. so this is basically the main thing you wanna know in order to find your preferred gun. Also weapons have a 3 day timer before the clean up, so there is a great chance if you can't find a gun, it's because it is somewhere on the ground. 3. i can't say for sure, but it seems loot is spawning anywhere regardless of players.

if there is one thing that i know, im sick of this old looking chernarus buildings. i really like to see a map which first offers a modern town similar to what we are living with lots of modern apartments and some places with a big house with two yard with a mail box in fron and a pool in the back yard. second the jungles which has water falls and a field with so much flowers.

1. pooping is not a mechanic in the game, thanks god. 2. i honestly didn't try yet, im stock to canned food for now, there are plenty of it out there. 3. for now, YES, you need to take a tent or barrel in your hand and put it on the ground again in order to refresh it's timer. but their timer is 45 day long so you don't actually need to do it for now. till .59 which you can refresh their timer only with interacting with them. 4. first of, animals are rare (or maybe uncommon) you will find them in herds. also they are most of the time running around, sometimes stock in a tree or rock in the woods. 5. check dayztv.com for this. 6. i didn't find or care for antibiotics till now. for glow plugs you need to search sheds with Vicinity open because those things are pretty hard to spot and also they are so rare. for maps you can find anywhere on the map but also rare. 7 and 8 didn't try any cooking yet. -
me too. im seriously don't think this is a good generic idea too. first me either can't understand the logic behind it, the back story. if this is gonna be like what radioactive is in Rust (the very first time it came out with zombies and stuff) i can't see myself playing the game anymore (beside mod's probably) i really like that making some Hot-spots filled with zombies idea. think of creating a shark animal and greatly increase it spawns rate around prison island, or making a bridge filled with zombies to that place. or ideas like this. yeah i guess that's true. that's more than likely the reason why DayZ in twitch is a low viewer game. things you do in dayz are not enjoyable to watch, but are very enjoyable to do. you won't enjoy watching someone struggling to find some food but you sure do enjoy doing it. like i was searching for a glow plug like 3-4 hours with no chance and i'm sure no one would enjoy watching it, but i can't describe the moment i found one.

I don't really know why there is so much confusion about this, if you watch this re-cap video you will have all this questions answered i guess. They are going to talk with people representing different areas of the game (like this streamers here, Devs think they represent Combat aspect of the game, because they are doing combats as the main goal in this game their streams)using google hang-out and use their suggestions and concerns to improve that aspect of the game. they are doing this weekly, so this weeks talk is about the Combat playstyle, next week might be about Role-play playstyle and different streamers which represent RP playstyle (my favorite, Mr.Moon). so basically we are gonna see Community X Scrums from now on (X would be a specific play style)

i like to see infecteds back Asap too... but they wont be back at .59 well, i don't know what to expect from the .59 anymore. first they set tents persistent time to 45 days so there is room for a normal stable update and some extra time (this was mentioned in a status report i guesS) and all of a sudden eugen is talking about merging all parts of the engine which im sure needs more than 45 days to bug fix and stuff. and there is no official word either denying those engine changes or confirming it and status report seem to get delayed to next week too. im all so confused so i guess the best way to go is to not hype myself because new engine parts are so good to be true :|

there are zombies in .58 but only in a small number. i found 6-7 so far. they found out zombies bugs are causing a lot of server performance issues, so the lowered their number and i guess no respawn till performance is ideal. that been said, they most likely come back in .60 (not .59) but that is just a goal that they may or may not reach :) -
this are all my observations, nothing 100% ofc because no devs commented on this things. 1. they don't, not in this patch at least. thought they have a timer after you pick them up and drop them. each item is different than others but generally speaking, mags and guns and ammos have the longest timer of all. (also, again from observation, clean-up of the items seems buggy to me. 2. i didn't say (on the topic Wasnu linked) that they despawn after 4 hours. item's on Heli crash-sites respawn every 4 hours, the crash site itself reposition (despawn, and spawn somewhere else) at an unknown time which my best guess is 12 to 24 hours. 3. Nope. vehicles don't despawn or respawn. they just refuel and repair the tires and flip over tires (if they are on side and can't move) (english issue here, cant find the word) after a restart. nothing else. i don't know what happens if no one interact with them since for now most of persistence items stays there for 45 days without any interaction so no one actually can answer this question but devs. 4. i have a little doubt on this. but my answer is no. i know the fact that items inside players inventory and tents should not count, but someone else in this topic said the do and we got no reference from him and no devs asked ( i tried to ask eugen, but you know, im not a successful streamer or smth)

When DayZ going to have good performance?

well that is actually a pretty good explain to me. so you want to wait till new renderer coming (which no one knows the Date yet but its before Beta) so you will get a really small FPS and maybe (just maybe im not sure) a good FPS at towns (like you have in other places nothing more) because it's been said that its internally fixed with renderer. the thing is, devs either don't wanna hype or there is nothing to get hyped (devs not promising any FPS boost at the release of renderer) anyway, IF everything goes as it's planned, we can see beta starts in 2016 (which i guess we will see a Delay)and that is exactly when they START to optimize the game. so this may not be gifted to you by Santa at Christmas, be patient. -

oh man another "English WIP" issue. i didn't know what "reconciling" actually mean so i guessed that i can skip it and still get the sentence. see, i thought you are mentioning another bug being fixed, so basically, they are functioning pretty well to me, other than that they will remove other items and even persistence storage in a radius of 1KM around the crash site upon a despawn (clean-up) -
First off, thanks for being nice to me (which today no one is, it seems :D ) and not attacking me right away. i do think it's a great idea, still it won't reach the goal it's intended. simply because, people can still learn this stuff by the books, people just deny others and try to find the books or even kill the book keepers (player who has the book, which is ofc unknown to others, potential for KoS) i think its better to make it different so people start with two random skills and they can teach those skills, but there is no books. and even then, there would be another problem which is completely destroying Lone-Wolf game style. which in both cases, devs won't do it i guess, because they don't want to destroy different playstyles or give players an advantage or direct them to a specific play style. best chance of this being implemented is by mods. Still, i guess that what they plan to do (faster animations and such) is gonna help with this KoS situation and not destroying lone wolfs completely. see, the idea behind this is simple, there are already players in squad that have a specific role in the squad, its almost the way every squad works (as far as i seen) so what about giving those guys a slight advantage, not a game changer, but still helps. anyway, as i said, i really like the idea and surely i like to see it in a feature mod, but im not seeing this makes its way to vanilla dayz.

is it? since when exactly? because that occurs to me 4 days ago. no they don't re position every 4 hours, they respawn loot every 4 hours or so. -
honestly i don't follow you. Correct me: so you are suggesting a feature which is already planed to be implemented and which you already know that's planned and making the suggestion anyway ? or i am missing something? :huh: please explain more :)

There is a total number of 3 spawning. respawning loot each 4 hours and re-positioning (in my experience in a pub server) just it took a lot of hours to re-position i guess, maybe 12 ro 24 hours -
it's DayZ frame boost, typo. Link how to use: 1. launch "LPmanager" As admin. 2. find-out which user dayz runs under, you can do that when dayz is running and open task manager. 3. type the user name, exactly how it is with all capitals and spaces etc. in the box in front of Privilege key. 4. press privilege then restart your PC. 5. then run "DayZ Frame Boost On" for turn it on and "DayZ frame boost Off" for turn it off.

Edge Smoothing- FXAA High Go for Normal or lower either FXAA or SMAA Shadow Quality- Very Low Go For Low instead, for me it means better performance Texture Detail- Very High This is too much, go for normal or high Texture Memory- Auto Set this one manually and equal to your VGA memory Object Quality- Very High this is too much too, go for normal or High Also check out if V-sync is enabled, disable it. if nothing works, try lowering your render resolution. and there is a program called DayZ Frame bood, download it and install it. it will make some changes in register which helps you with FPS, there is 0 chance of getting ban for this and also there is another register file which undo the changes. Download a program CPU parking control and when you wanna play dayz, select high performance then make active. this is pretty much it, if this things don't help you, nothing else will. i suggest run some Hardware test too, like monitoring your Heat.

Did you changed the Config files? like scene complexity or max FPS ahead etc ... it helped me alot actually. also note that some options in video take a lot of FPS and give a little beauty and affect your gameplay in almost no way. some settings when put on Low are more CPU defendant and normal or high GPU dependent. changing HDR quality to Very Low gave me literally 10 FPS boost.

hey man, nothing new here. we are all in the same boat. please try some optimization videos, those things will help a lot. i got like 20 (outside city, and like 5-10 inside city FPS boost) about the memory leak, that is there for all of us too, you close the game, you get one of this as Christmas present :D
