My screen for some odd reason is staying black and white or gray is more of the term. I have been eating and I am not thirsty. My charater is in color on the menu screen but during gameplay its gray. What in the world is going on with that? Could use some help cause my eyes are getting tired of the blandness.

Well I hopped back on DayZ last night and I was surprised to see how much improvments the game has gone through. Things felt tighter and I can play the game on High setting without any issues. But...one thing just stuck out..These Zombies are moving around like they are not rotting away..lol I had to bandage myself 4 times before I left Electro because these zombies are vicious now. I don't mind it at all. Makes for a more interesting PVP fight now if there are zombies around that can run track.

This is why I don't participate in forums much. People take this shit too serious man. I am giving my positive feedback on a game from my view. I don't care what people have said the last 2 weeks.

So let me see if I follow this...I live on the US east coast and I can't play the game until the evening. So I can't play the game with daylight? The idea that this is a game and not real life should not be forgotten.

Ok so I used some Alcohol Tincture to clean my wounds and then I got sick. I did not consume it. Why would I get sick after cleaning my wounds?

I just turnred the game off after playing for 6 hours but right before I quit, my player said "my woulds feel better" or something like that. So I guess it will go away

Today I died 3 times..not from another player or a zombie but, falling from a higher level. Each time I glitched through the rail and died. The first time I didn't care. The second and third time really pissed me off because I had a lot of stuff that I scavenged for. I even found a couple guns and I had traveled all the way up to the ship at a Rify. I went up the side steps and as soon as I get up there my character moves to the left and fall all the way down the ship through the rail. That is pretty depressing.

ummm..no man...there are different levels of bleeding if you didn't know. If you get hit once..you start bleeding and you can actually run around for I think(I may be wrong) about 10 minutes. If you get hit twice..that is cut by 3/4. The blood rivals some of those 70's karate flix shooting out of you like a poked soda can. One strange thing happen to me yesterday. I was in the pond going towards Kambiwmbo (not sure about that spelling) I started to take a drink and I was Spam hamming the interact button and a zombie came up behind me and hit me..now..I saw the blood but when I got up the get away he wasn't spewing out. I even ripped my shirt off and turned it into rags just to realize I wasn't bleeding. Strange moment.

I don't think Michael Jackson could have pulled of the "forward" Moon walk.. lmao

I wish the next update has something involving players and zombies going through stuff. We should be able to run into a house and close the door on zombies if we don't fee like fighting them or don't have a weapon yet.

That video is funny but thats not what I'm talking about. I walked up the steps not up or down a ladder. I walked through the rail. Ive died going up a ladder before too.

if you are implying that I jumped off or I was running...no way. The same way you can glitch through fences around houses..it happens when you are up high in warehouses and stuff like that. I glitched two stories down last night in Berenzino.. right in front of a zombie.. it was almost like the zombies aggro pulled me down.

I wasn't doing that. I just walked up the ladder on the ship(I had walk mode on) and he just glitched right through the rail and dropped still walking..lol. That was a difficult pill to swallow. I might have to put this game away for a couple days after that one.

Relax..I'm not campaigning to KOS(Kill On Sight) for those that don't know what that means. I have put 58 hours into this game so far and I have to say its fun to play and be able to do your own thing and make your story. I am up to my neck in annoyance with the KOS mentality. If I have a gun and another guy has a gun and we meet up, I'm sure its about a 25% chance that its going to be friendly. On the other side of that, why do people run around with nothing but the hands attached to their arms running around trying to punch you? There is absolutely no stat for KILLING. So....if we are both coming off the beach and we both don't have $h!t its just really lame to me why we must fight. This happen to me 4 times yesterday IN A ROW. I felt like giving up on the game. Its already a chore to get to places to get guns to defend yourself because everybody camps out in Bolota waiting for people to come up and then..bang you get shot. I see all these threads about what to do to stop this from happening and the truth is, nothing can and will be done because the majority of people who play the game play it in that fashion. The way I see it, if that is how things are going to be then lets facilitate that style of game play by increasing the amount of Guns on the map and in way more places. I know it is unrealistic to find an M4 next to a bag of rice at the store, but then when somebody attacks me on the beach for my "rags" it starts to make sense.

.......who's Xbox one and PS4 are cold as the weather right now? I didn't think before November that I would own those two systems..but be playing a PC game called DayZ. The game even with its flaws have captured my imagination.

Some guy with nothing but a tshirt ran up the steps on me while I was at Berenzino and knocked me out with two punches. I didn't have a chance because I was looking at my inventory. I had A LOT of stuff too. Mosin and a pistol included no bullets for either at the time)

Trust me man..I haul ass as soon as I hear the water..lol..people just gank me before I can make it to the road. That 4 in row experience I had was so crazy I thought the game had gone mad. Since then I had it happen to me one more time..some chick ran up on me with a screw driver with a zombie hanging out her ass..lmao..it was triple threat match between me, the zombie and her.

As a semi New player I can give you a few tips to ponder on: 1. Do not begin your playing on Night time severs(start on Daytime till your comfy) 2. As soon as you spawn on beach..run like hell to anywhere other than there. 3. Make sure when you go to a drinking well..spam the hell out of the well...it takes more than you would think to get rid of the "thirsty" status. 4. Find a melee weapon yesteday...people and zombies come at you without caution. Zombies stay aggro for a long ass time. Best weapon is the Fireman or any kind of axe. Its a one hit kill on zombies to the head. 5. DO NOT worry about looking "good" if you find a rain coat put it on...some dirty hunter pants..put it on...sometimes it takes a while to find a back pack. You will need the pockets to hold important things like cans of food and fruit. 6. Do not run along roads. Use the trees or something but stay within the framework of the direction your are traveling. 7. Have fun with it, there are a lot things that will piss you off but, just keep in mind that its an alpha and one day you will be playing the true game and you look back an laugh at some of the outrageous shit that happens...like "zombie rabbits"

I do everything you guys are saying in terms of not rushing in or making sure. I zoom in all the time everywhere I go. The few times I have been killed in Bolota, it was a distance kill. I never really had a chance to do anything. It wasn't like "oh shit I see sombody with a mosin, maybe I can hide" oh no..I just got killed Navy Seal style..lol I will say it again, The fist fighting fresh on the beach is a little funny. We both don't have anything but the shirt on our backs. When we all have weapons it changes things a little. I wonder how much KOS goes on in the dark servers?

Here is the quick fix for this problem. If you are not about to die, then all you have to do is go into video settings and you will see the screen clear up. You don't even have to change anything. Happened to me a few times.

I'm going to stalk anybody I see.

take out a melee weapon and go near the wall. spin around and swing the weapon at the same time. The game loses the wall for a second while your spinning and you can ge out. Keep spinning and swinging till you get out. Worked for me multiple times
